@Twe12thman @Boro Acoustics somehow need to be improved. Best scenario, Roof Reflection: The shape of the stadium roof can act as a reflector, sending sound back down into the stands rather than up into the sky. I’ve read there’s some sort of panels that can be put in roofs which reflect the noise

Sorted 100%. Also send it to the local councillors for the area. Honestly once the council get a letter from them they will sort something. Give a really detailed email of the accommodation and how unsuitable it was. Good luck.

@iamtomskinner She was sharing communal areas with total strangers who were from all different walks of life, swearing, alcoholics etc and it was in the best interest of her child to get out of there. The council need to be accountable putting her in the totally unsuitable accommodation.

A close friend of mine is a lovely girl who I’ve known all me life, she is a single mum with a lovely little daughter. She’s been waiting patiently for a council house for nearly four years. Recently, the council put her in temporary accommodation, but it was absolutely dire and shared with strangers, not safe or suitable for her or her child.
So I said I would help her out. I let her stay in a little flat Iown rent free (bought it years ago). She’s a mate, I’ve known her since we were little, and I couldn’t see her and her daughter living like that. I thought I was helping. But now, because she left that temporary housing, the council’s turned around and said she’s no longer classed as “vulnerable” and they’ve put her back at the bottom of the list.
She’s still the same person, still struggling, still needs a permanent roof over her head. All that’s changed is that I helped her out. And now it feels like she is being punished.
Has anyone else been through something like this? And is there anything I can do to help get her back on track? Because right now, it feels like trying to do the right thing has only made things harder for her and I feel terrible. Bosh❤️
