I listened to Rodriguez this week, he said he’ll die for Messi.
These players are not just nonentities, Alvarez is big in every sense of it, he’s completed football at his age. Enzo is as big as it gets, Lautaro is god in Milan. Romero is Spurs’ captain. Lisandro Martinez plays for arguably the biggest club in England.
Like these guys are very big, and they’re humble enough to acknowledge a god. Zero egos.
Again, you cannot have a bad attitude as a leader or be arrogant, and big players like these will want to die for you. They’re mutually exclusive.

They might play poorly in some matches, but if Argentina's players tell you they'll give their heart and soul to win, don't write them off. Only Neymar and Mbappé can explain this better because Argentina are a crazy team. You can do everything right against them, yet they'll still find a way to walk away with the win.

Dia pernah dihujat habis-habisan. Dibilang international flop, cuma jago di klub, gak bisa apa-apa di timnas, pensiunnya sempat dibilang pengecut. Tekanannya luar biasa, tapi dia gak lari dari itu semua.
Pasca pensiun dan kembali ke Timnas, Messi menutup semua kritik dengan trofi Copa América (2), Finalissima (1), dan Piala Dunia (1).
Dan sekarang, di usia 39 tahun, dia masih jadi pemain penting yang mengantar Argentina ke semifinal Piala Dunia 2026. Bahkan namanya gak cuma numpang di skuad, tapi malah jadi tulang punggung.
Setiap pemain punya masanya. Tapi setiap masa selalu ada Messi. 🐐
