I think the conversation around divorce in the church would be healthier if, instead of labelling divorce as the evil, we labelled the things that LED UP to most evangelical divorces-- abuse, infidelity, chronic porn use, addictions-- as the real evil.

This time last year I was planning a way for my then husband to get help for his coercive behavior… just as he was filing for divorce. Incidentally, it was a few weeks later I had a spontaneous orgasm out of the blue. First one in about 10yrs. I was never the same after that.

Too many Christians think God is more concerned with men being in charge than with women being safe.
