Hunts for over 20 years have stuck two fingers up to the law. They think they’re untouchable - because for so long the law has allowed them to be untouchable. That’s about to end. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐓𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐩𝐡 𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐬𝐞. The Telegraph have been churning out a lot of pro-hunt propaganda, with this particular piece praising equine artist Madeline Bunbury for running the London Marathon to raise money for the Countryside Alliance. Madeline said she was running the marathon to raise ""𝘧𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘧𝘶𝘯𝘥𝘴" for the CA in their campaign to try and save 'trail hunting.' The Telegraph reported that "𝘔𝘴 𝘉𝘶𝘯𝘣𝘶𝘳𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘨𝘶𝘭𝘢𝘳𝘭𝘺 𝘨𝘰𝘦𝘴 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘵𝘪𝘨𝘪𝘰𝘶𝘴 𝘉𝘦𝘢𝘶𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘘𝘶𝘰𝘳𝘯 𝘩𝘶𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘭𝘰𝘤𝘢𝘭 𝘚𝘰𝘶𝘵𝘩 & 𝘞𝘦𝘴𝘵 𝘞𝘪𝘭𝘵𝘴." This is the same 'bin-bag Beaufort' that last season were not only caught killing foxes on numerous occasions but also featured on a Channel 4 news report by Alex Thompson who branded them "𝘴𝘦𝘳𝘪𝘢𝘭 𝘬𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘦𝘳𝘴." Unfortunately, halfway through the marathon Madeline's dedication to the cause dissipated as quickly as the "trail hunting" smokescreen did, as she failed to finish the race. In November last year, Lake District Hunt Saboteurs using a drone, filmed the Coniston Hunt digging out a fox. The fox was taken to a wooded area and thrown to the waiting pack of hounds. In the days and weeks following our exposure of the video, local police made at least 17 arrests for animal cruelty offences which remain under investigation, it also came to light a second hunt - The Teme Valley Hunt - were also present and involved in the offences. This act of brazen cruelty, and the blasé manner which they carried it out, knowing they were being filmed, is all the proof you need to know this was not an isolated incident. This has been the behaviour of hunts all around the country, since the invention of the “Trail Hunting” smokescreen. Hunts said from the start they would “test” the Hunting Act to the extreme and continue killing foxes, and that’s what they’ve been doing for over 20 years. A child can be seen in the video being instructed to hold a blanket or coat next to the netted sett exit, ready to catch the fox should the net fail. The terrified animal was flushed and dragged out of the sett, and stuffed into a quad box, ready to be used later - most likely to be thrown in front of the hounds to give the hunt subscribers an enthralling and entertaining tiny animal being ripped apart to witness. This is what they pay for. This barbarism needs to end - this is sick. "Trail Hunting" IS Fox Hunting. Another sad day on Exmoor, a young stag killed by the Devon & Somerset Staghounds/Quadbikes after a 5 hour hunt. They took his body back to the meet where the League Against Cruel Sports drone caught them all gathered round fiddling with his body, many young children present

HUNT VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN NORMALISED IN COURT. Yet again, a Blackmore and Sparkford Vale Hunt member has been found not guilty of assault. Henry Mayo violently pushed a sab off a bank but the bench at Weymouth Magistates Court accepted his version that she slipped and fell.
