Mendip Hunt Sabs

On Monday the 16th of March, the Quantock Staghounds forced this stag to endure a five-and-a-half-hour chase. The stag then became trapped against a fence and was shot while a hunt saboteur from Mendip Hunt Sabs witnessed their final moments. Stag hunts operate by continuing to exploit the loopholes in the law and as result, stags like this one are still being tormented and killed, all for the sadistic enjoyment of the depraved few. The government must ensure that a full ban on hunting is introduced, with no loopholes or exemptions, to prevent the continuation of this barbarity. This is blatant animal cruelty, and it must end.  The depraved Quantock Stag Hounds killed this poor stag in front of one of our sabs yesterday. Exhausted from a 5 hour chase, the stag became trapped against the fence, (1/3)

On Saturday the 14th of March, a brilliant quota of more than sixty sabs, representing nine Hunt Saboteurs Association–affiliated groups, attended the closing meet of the Duke of Beaufort Hunt, with the aim of preventing the Beaufort from killing any more foxes. The number of mounted field riders was significantly reduced, despite visitors being in attendance and the hunt were overwhelmed with the volume of sabs and so resorted to violence. Sabs remained steadfast in their aim and great teamwork and communication meant the hunt had to abandon their persistent pursuit of a fox. A massive well done to all the teams involved. Sabs ran to cover the fox's scent with citronella, and used whip cracks and voice commands to send the hounds away as they approached in full cry on the fox's line. This successfully stopped the chase and the hunt were forced to gather the pack. (3/4)
