@Chapman_Histo It honestly looks like plastics. Does have a weird focal response when adjusting the focus to the rest of the tissue? Almost like it stays in focus at more focal planes than the tissue?

@Chapman_Histo That is hilarious. So that is a mitochondria hanging out in the lumen of the capillary and it's wrapped in the membrane of the endothelial cell? I wonder if this could slow down blood flow through the capillary?

Grrr, last night I brushed past a handle on our linen cupboard and ripped the sensor out. I still got a week's worth of continuous blood glucose monitoring, which is way more than I've ever collected. Just sent it to my endocrinologist.

@SelinaWray I realize the author is female, but I still find it odd that this article was not written about the male 19 previous finishers of the Barkley Marathon. It was the first women finisher that inspired the article.

Add in distracted drivers on phones, relaxed drink driving, laughably easy automatic gearboxes, rapid acceleration on almost silent EVs and an arms race for larger vehicles to protect drivers from… other large vehicles and it’s no wonder pedestrian deaths look like this

As a newcomer to Vancouver/North America this is absolutely insane to me. UK/EU folks - unbelievably, you can turn onto a road that also has a pedestrian green light over here. It’s essentially playing chicken with a 2 tonne death machine every time you cross the road…

Almost every light cycle at Cambie and 7th there are multiple cars turning left long after the advanced turn has gone off and the walk sign is on. If only there was a @VancouverPD officer around to enforce this sort of thing.

@HannahThurgur @Maclomaclee This effect could be simple regression to the mean and/or self selection bias. So to conclude it's an effective treatment is a bridge too far.

The Poua were ordered to apologise to the NZ Govt for their last haka. Today they did this instead.
