So I think there are a couple of explanations of this. One is that kids are just not very good at telling you what's going on in school. It is very difficult to get detailed information out unless you have the time to sit in class and observe as a parent aide.

to me, the most interesting thing about the discussion of schools trapping their students in Hyper-Boredom Cyber-Jail™ is all the highly-educated, professional parents saying "wow, I asked my kid and she says she hates being in Cyber-Jail™ too! much to think about."

I go to a daily workout class. They model the exercise first, then the class completes the exercise. All of the instructors use the same central curriculum, so which instructor I get is interchangeable. This concept should not be that difficult for schools and teachers.

The problem with human tutors is that once a week isn’t enough. Skills need to be practiced daily. Students have questions daily. @ben_m_somers built a program that combines weekly human support with daily AI tutoring and it works with any curriculum. After previewing it today, I’m convinced this is the missing link in personalized virtual learning.

OTD Feb 5, 1631: Roger Williams arrived at Boston in the ship Lyon, soon moving to Salem and then Plymouth before breaking decisively with the Bay authorities over conscience, church, and state.
