@empatheticcain I love the BatFam. My (and many others') main issue is that it's grown too large and too much beyond him, shifting some of his core characteristics and functions. Gotham has over 20 vigilantes half of which are overextensions with split characteristics and stories

((I'm also never gonna take people who hate on the Bat-Family seriously because there are genuinely good stories with them if you look.
(Tynion's TEC is an acquired taste but I still think it's pretty decent. 😭)

@sanguineblood @Choppedworld I like the “Maul-Dooku-Grievous mirror Vader” logic but Dooku would have served greatly as the PT’s overarching antagonist too. Underutilizing Sir Christopher Lee is a crime

Theres a lot of vagueness to this scene but I think it works in the movies favor here. Dooku's contradictory motivations make him a much more interesting character

Dooku might have been the bad guy, but he was not wrong if only they had listened to him earlier, a lot would have been avoided. Sometimes, it proves that you should sometimes listen to your enemy when they are telling you the truth

@Choppedworld This and the Sidious scene at the end are best scenes of AotC, everything at play is at the behest of the Sith and the realization that their grand plan is at play makes the approaching Ep III ever more menacing

I don’t like his personality or backstory and nothing about him has ever appealed to me.
