I’d say no more Pokemon purchases for the next six months if you’re doing it for investing purposes. We’ve absolutely hit the local top.
- celebs at card shows
- random cards being manipulated
- retail products sell out immediately
- Sketchy auctions and box breaks
- TL fully Pokemon
- hyper gambling gatcha will inevitably burn new collectors and liquidity will thin up after profits absorbed.
- ATH for number of items being graded at PSA and others
Seen the exact same thing happen in NFT’s.
I absolutely adore Pokemon and it’s not going anywhere. My vintage collection has gone bonkers the last 12 months and have continued to add but you’re now paying insane premiums for sub par cards.
Not selling anything just not buying anything anymore.

Why are crypto prices going up this week?
Look at what is happening in Iran.
When airstrikes started people immediately began pulling money off local exchanges. Chainalysis says hourly outflows jumped up to 873 percent above normal levels right after the Feb 28 strikes. That means people inside the country started moving value quickly.
Around $881M moved into BTC investment products last week and $117M into ETH. That kind of inflow creates upward pressure on price.
