I spend an awful lot more time driving some of the oldest EVs on our roads than most people do. Different ones every week. Breakdowns? One, because the auction house left it so low on charge it wouldn’t make it to the nearest charger. Wouldn’t have made it to the nearest petrol station either. My mechanical prep spend is minimal - brakes, suspension, tyres. Usual wear and tear items on any older car someone’s part exchanged somewhere, jobs they have put off.

@WillForster Perhaps this needs more focus given all the excessive building on going. It seems that none of our services is capable of supporting all the new families that will move into our former greenspaces. Or perhaps you could stop the building ?

Delighted to hold my first debate in Parliament, stand up for #Woking commuters by calling for a rail fare freeze and changing how things are normally done! We don’t want passengers to be railed with steep fares, let’s get on track for a fair deal.

Hi @virginmedia I’m intrigued why your retention staff refuse to accept notice of cancellation over 30 days when your contract clearly states “at least 30 days”. Please educate your staff - it has taken me three calls to give notice.

@Synchronicity34 That can’t possibly be true since A. BEVs are significantly heavier than ICE B. Electric motors supply a lot more torque from a standstill up to the limits of tyre grip.

Tyres will wear much more slowly on a #BEV?? 😳 Who is saying this crazy thing ?? (Which happens to agree with what I’ve being saying all along.) Only Nokian Tyres!! Yes! An acknowledged world leader in tyre manufacturing knows the truth!

@meshking @Veldom24 @modernheroestv I did quite enjoy the e-pedal when I test drove it. Stronger regens effectively act like that anyway but it was nice to get some brake in when you fully lifted off.
