I swear I’m not even exaggerating - 80% of my life problems atm are cus I have a Sudanese passport. Career, education, safety, travel bans, heck even opening a darn bank account is almost impossible. The world is simply telling us Sudanis we don’t deserve a place in this world.

Like obviously Iran striking the UAE is a net positive for Sudan. Sure. But does that mean their strikes are “freeing” us.. NOOOOO . No one can ever take credit for any potential free Sudan other than Sudanese PEOPLE and Sudanese people ALONE. No one did anything to help us other than ourselves. We fed ourselves when our neighbours were starving (aid kitchens) our people went and died fighting the RSF, they died trying to help each other. Not Iran, not turkey, not Egypt, not whoever else you guys want to pretend has more of a role in freeing Sudan than SUDANESE PEOPLE.

Having to crowdfund to survive is such a humiliating experience I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. The effect it has on your dignity and self respect is huge.
