The forecast called for rain. This is just awful! I've also heard that lightning occurred during the ceremony, as well.

Rain or Shine Centennial High School in Franklin, TN held graduation on the football field in heavy pouring rain, soaking students and families. Despite the forecast, no indoor backup was used. Diplomas stayed dry in plastic, but the chaotic ceremony drew frustration and backlash from parents.

Check out this incredible 3D trajectory of the parachuted sensor as it completed three revolutions around the #tornado, with widet circumference with height. The sensor then sampled the “vent” at the upper reaches of the dynamic pipe. It reached velocities of at least 140 mph. This is a historic accomplishment in science and engineering by @WillClay25

@DOWFacility That reminds me of the Putnam County, TN EF-4 of March 3, 2020. Rapidly developed, hit a subdivision of homes, and then rapidly dissipated. Total path was 8.39 miles long, with 19 people killed.

So Mike Johnson and many republicans are against banning Members of Congress from trading stocks because inflation makes their salary less valuable.
Here’s an idea: if $174k a year isn’t enough for you, then resign and let someone who is willing to work the job do it.
There are plenty of young people who would be willing to give up stock trading for that salary. And they would actually get stuff done.
And if $174k isn’t enough for people to take care of their family, then how the hell is minimum wage?

Sunday into Monday especially look very concerning when it comes to a severe weather threat. It looks to be an extensive area of widespread severe weather potential, including very large hail, wind and tornadoes - some significant. How the previous days unfold will be key.
