April Fool’s Day tomorrow. Huge day for social media teams working for brands. Ooh we’re going to be played for such fools! “All our pizzas now include pineapple”… “Introducing our new fish-flavoured toothpaste” etc… oh my goodness brace yourselves, it’s going to be a riot.
Clearly many fans now expect #Pompey to be relegated. But, with eight games left, there is currently still hope. And I've gone all optimistic and written a few words on why we shouldn't be giving up. Yet. portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football…
@VelimirZajec@GBPFC1984@the_real_gart Will it? Maybe they’re aware of what’s happening and have a change of direction 🤞Who’s to say the next owner will be any different or actually worse? Now the ownership is more equal maybe that will change the ways our current owners will be.
@methers78@GBPFC1984@the_real_gart But keep the Eisners? And then the existing situation will repeat itself with the next manager. Out of interest, what do you expect the next manager to achieve with the Eisners' budget?
Some fans need a wake up call. Blaming Mous is focussing on treatment rather than the cure. The cancer at our club is Tornante. Mous makes mistakes as all coaches do. But do fans really believe you can have lowest budget in league and keep avoiding relegation year after year?
@methers78@VelimirZajec@the_real_gart Give over. On what planet do you think a manager should constantly out perform a budget. Our team is fucking awful. Cheap, injury prone shit. Couldn’t even sign a striker in January when your only hopeless striker has 1 goal.
@methers78@GBPFC1984@the_real_gart If it was so easy to stay up with a budget that is £7k a week off the Championship average, then a lot more clubs would do it. The fact of the matter is that Mousinho and the players have been outperforming the budget. It can't be done all the time. It catches you out eventually.
@VelimirZajec@GBPFC1984@the_real_gart After the Millwall game the performance was alright for the season? The budget is a cop out excuse not to put blame of players or coaching. JM should stay good manager buts needs support in this situation. He has got things wrong recently as seen at QPR
Let's make one thing abundantly clear
If #Pompey go down, it's a failure of our owners.
Not the players. Not the coaching staff.
On the last day at Fratton vs Birmingham, our fans won't be calling for John's head, or the players heads.
They'll be baying for our owners blood
@VelimirZajec@GBPFC1984@the_real_gart I’m not defending them for their lack of playing budget investment but all you anti owners are failing to lay any blame at the players or coaches. You are totally blinded by your campaign against the owners, but seeing your posts no one is surprised by it
@methers78@wayneharrispfc Dreadfull ?? we had 5 England internationals in our team all on big money , Campbell , crouch , Defoe , James , johnson , they never came for harry as much as they came for the money jeez
@brans49063@wayneharrispfc Such a pathetic comment Harry was by far the best man manager this club has seen and got the best out of some dreadful players. He knew players and he knew how to talk which is why he got the players he wanted. A more experienced manager would do that with the Eisners.
@wayneharrispfc Spot on as it’s the owners who control budgets , Harry was only good with Milan & gaydamaks money so failure starts & stops with Eisner
@CamGpfc Get your banner out with the plane but wait until end of season. If you don’t want to support the team on the pitch don’t turn up be better for all of us. We want fans at games that get behind the team not moan about owners, that does no good
Takes from yesterday..
Eisners need pushing out, banners need to be in play for Oxford at Fratton
Sacking Mousinho isnt the answer
Josh Murphy carries the entire team
Nicholas Schmid isnt the same player since injury
Were going down
#pompey
@GBPFC1984@PFC_Coalition What against how shit the team and coaching has been too? If you’re going to moan about one you have to do the lot. They have just as much blame attached to them than the owners.
I wonder how many people
Are now ridiculing the @PFC_Coalition what we are seeing now was blatantly obvious. And why I and others created the coalition. Now we need Pompey fans across the board to start protesting.
@Bunkybowers Finally someone else who has spoken some sense. Players and coaches are to blame for recent performances. This club is good enough to stay up and only 6 games ago we knew it. Now they need to rest and deliver. They have 12 days to sort themselves out or they can get out
@CamGpfc@pn_neil_allen 🤦🏻♂️😂 forgot they were on the pitch today delivering that dross! Try blaming the players and coaches too for this disaster of a performance. Are you able to do that?
Despicable performance. That was the display of a side returning to the League One. My on-the-whistle #Pompey player ratings from 6-1 defeat at QPR. portsmouth.co.uk/sport/football…
Im one of Mousinho's biggest advocates..
But why the fuck has he shifted Ebou Adams into the 10 and put Swift as a CM, when Swift was flourishing as a 10 before his injury.
Mousinho's bizarre tactical selection has caused that goal, Swift isnt a CM.
#pompey
@bluewhitewall The FA have always said they would never do a deal with adidas because they are German! Absolute fools everyone knows adidas is the best
Imagine if England had this kit in red with Adidas.
I genuinely think this would be the best-selling kit in English history.
This would be an all timer kit.
It's perfect.
It's a shame we are stuck with Nike until 2030. 🥲
A big thank you from us and all the local farmers to West Oxfordshire District Council for letting us have a proper car park at The Farmer’s Dog. Let’s hope this marks the start of a new and more cordial relationship. #backbritishfarming
