a part of me dislikes that kara gave up so easy prime killed HER kal. Kal-L. the closest thing we have to a universally agreed THE Superman. like i get it, ma wisdom, but out of everyone, kara shouldn't let it slide.

So I’m watching the HnK remake and… something just feels off.
They’re actually following the manga instead of adding filler and reshuffling arcs to build things up differently. I kind of expected a bit more “creative interpretation” there, especially for Shin’s introduction.

@90_s_Otaku Also, just like I said, the movies had good art during close-up still shots and most shots you gave me are literally that. They were movies with way higher budget than the series. Yet, I can pause the new anime almost any time and it will look good and consistent.

@AgyemanaR Like, yes there are some off-moments with the animation. But overall, the style and direction of the anime is great and the voice actors put their all into it.
