@MindyDawn364 @BMiggy No just when he is off at the plate he looks like… really, really bad. But we know when he’s on he looks like a completely different player and makes us a much better team. There seems to be no in between though.

Vientos has been horrific for over a year He had four good games in SF And now I’m forced to watch him in the middle of the lineup for the foreseeable future leave an ocean of baserunners on base

This team is just incapable of getting a clutch hit right now when behind. Still early.

@mets_diet @metsandtheciti @_abbyyg I'll accept that as soon as they stop hitting him leadoff. If we have to accept that Lindor sucks until May, which is just facts, then we have to hit him 7th or lower until May as well.

I’m extremely frustrated watching the Mets be, for 14 games, essentially exactly what they were last season. That being said, this Lindor slander is mind boggling. Yes, he’s not playing well, but the way the fan base is so quick to demonize him is crazy.

There’s nothing quite like the Mets giving up a huge 3 run bomb that puts the game away, and then hearing Craig Carton pop on the tv saying how his show sounds better than Gary, Keith, and Ron and they they push buttons. Definitely a version of hell.

@BMiggy Bo has been awesome since the first series.

Even with early struggles I vibe with Bichette. He’s aggressive. Tries to make things happen. Rest of the lineup passive as shit with runners on base.

It’d be nice for us to get a clutch hit every once in a while. Great that we got the game close again, but now we actually need some clutch hits.

And the Metsies bats have woken up a bit. Polanco first home run as a Met. Need to tie up this game here this inning here. #LFGM

Those strikes where just a sliver of the ball hits the zone feel so unfair to the batters, but cool to see catchers win those. #ABS

@richmacleod Looking a little grim right now. Similar feelings to last year in that it feels like such a chore for them to score some runs. Don’t know what can change it, in 2024 it was Grimace, they need to find a similar spark.
