October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. While we stayed home during the pandemic, domestic violence rates went up. Every 16 hours, a woman is shot and killed by a current or former partner. Ending domestic violence is a part of ending gun violence.

Now, more than ever, we have to keep fighting for our right to go to school without fear of hearing gunshots. This never should have happened. And we’re exhausted of hearing it happen again.
