I’ve officially joined the ranks of former Tweeps.
I can’t begin to express how grateful I am to the people I worked with at Twitter. It wasn’t the company, and it wasn’t the product - it was all of you who kept me there for eight exciting, chaotic, and fulfilling years.
8 years, 3 teams, 7 managers, many mentors, countless memories, and so many friends along the way. It’s been such a joy working on this website from start to finish. 💙
My time at Twitter has ended. 🫡💙
10 years 3 months. Many thanks to so many people who've taught me so many things. But it's time for me to try and learn something different.
And a big thanks to those of you who'll keep this ship running in the stormy weeks and months ahead.
@BeeBimBop Those 1:1 discussions were always a highlight for me, and I have learned so much about user focus and quick iteration from you. One of the best!
@mganjoo I’ve worked with a lot of engineers and you were truly the cream of the crop. Thanks for your razor sharp thought partnership, generosity, and listening to 10,000 rants about how user controls can solve the “toxicity problem.” You were truly to joy to work with.
@i_pascu I feel privileged to have been able to work with you. You have brought such dedication and rigor to every problem that's come your way, and you've made the team and Twitter so much better. Hope you enjoy your well-deserved rest, and I hope our paths cross again some day!
@bidetofevil@hoowhatwen@mganjoo This is my first One Day, so I don't know how tough the overall competition will be, but I also didn't know the some of the memes
