I’ll translate the word salad for you guys: Given that they call anything they spend on promotions “rakeback”, Coin is charging outrageously high rake, then running a bunch of promotions like leaderboards, splash pots, VIP rebates for fish, etc. They will take an average of what they claim they’re collectively giving back to players through these promos, and say that it qualifies as “rakeback”. Therefore they will claim everyone is paying a “low effective rake”. This is like the lottery paying out 50% of all ticket money collected, and claiming every lottery player gets 50% rakeback on their tickets, even if it all goes to one person. This is complete nonsense. Nobody wants this misleading shell game. Just charge less rake, and be transparent regarding the true percentage each player will always get back, at minimum.

Dear Community, Thank you again for your feedback over the past 24 hours. We truely hear you. Yesterday, we introduced new rake caps on the new client. We anticipated that adjusting rake at launch would create negative sentiment. However, we made the deliberate decision to implement the change on day one rather than later in the month, as we believe transparency from the start is the right approach. What is on us is that we did not provide enough context around the reasoning and the bigger picture. We would like to clarify that now: • CoinPoker has always been, and will remain, a player-first poker site. This is one of our core company principles & we hope we're able to demonstrate that with our historic actions. • In the coming weeks, we will announce our new rewards model, designed to return a large amount of generated rake back to players while implementing a fair and competitive low effective rake structure. • Our goal is to always aim to have the lowest effective rake in the market. We believe that the poker dream has to stay alive and games always need to be winnable long term. We will hold ourselves to these standards. Our clear objective is to provide the best overall product experience, uphold the highest possible security standards, and remain player-first by maintaining the most competitive effective rake possible. We fully understand that one of the biggest concerns in any poker community is the feeling that operators do not listen. Decisions in this area directly impact players’ livelihoods, and for many of you this is personal. We are very aware of that responsibility and do not take it lightly. The line of communication between players and the site will always remain a top priority. Maintaining that trust matters deeply to us. We would also like to emphasize accountability. We work closely with our partners and ambassadors and highly value their input and experience. Many of them have shared similar feedback internally. Ultimately, however, all final decisions are made by CoinPoker. If we misstep, that responsibility sits entirely with us, not with any of our ambassadors. We share a common belief with our partners in building the most trusted poker site in the industry, but technical and operational decisions remain solely our responsibility. Please hold CoinPoker directly accountable for them. We sincerely appreciate all of your feedback and the intensity of the discussion. These feedback loops are incredibly valuable in helping us refine decisions and stay closely aligned with community sentiment. That alignment is of utmost importance to us. Thank you again for your trust and continued support. The CoinPoker Team.

I didn't want my first post for @CoinPoker_OFF to be drawing attention to launch hiccups, but I think they deserve some praise for their response to early crisis, particularly as it relates to security concerns. Any new client is certain to have it's issues during rollout & Coin is helping to ease those growing pains by being responsive and offering 100% Rakeback through March 15th (with 100% of the Rake going back to the players throughout the rest of March).

Dear Community, First of all, thank you for the incredible support during yesterday’s launch. Within the first 60 minutes on the new software, we reached record-high traffic levels. The response has been overwhelming, and we are genuinely grateful for the trust you’ve placed in us. Yesterday, a report shared by @wolfsec0x0 raised questions about potential security risks. We immediately escalated the matter to our technical team for review. After an initial assessment, the team confirmed that there were no backend vulnerabilities and no security risks affecting player funds, accounts, or core systems. However, we did not want to rely solely on an internal review. Before addressing the community publicly, we chose to speak directly with the player who raised the concerns to ensure that every point was thoroughly examined. He kindly provided a detailed technical breakdown, which our team reviewed in depth and responded to without delay. The confirmed findings are as follows: • There has been no threat to player data, funds, or backend infrastructure at any time. • Certain highlighted items relate to frontend elements and legacy code that is no longer active or in use and are not connected to live systems. These are now being fully removed as part of an ongoing cleanup process. • We are continuing to communicate directly and are open to further independent testing beyond the original scope. For transparency: our software currently runs on a hybrid architecture using both Unity and Electron. The core and majority of the upgraded system is built in Unity, which provides performance improvements and enhanced functionality. Certain interface components remain in Electron where it is technically more suitable. The underlying fundamentals are secured and optimized within the Unity framework. Security is not a one-time checkbox. It is an ongoing process. We are committed to constant improvement and continuous review. Our objective is clear: to build and maintain the most secure and safest online poker platform in the world. We sincerely thank @wolfsec0x0 for taking the time to raise these points. Constructive and independent feedback strengthens the product and ultimately benefits the entire community. We encourage everyone to continue sharing feedback. Honest input helps us reach the standard you expect and deserve. We will also financially reward anyone who is able to highlight an security optimization points - please always reach out and keep sharing your feedback. Finally, we will also address adjustments to our rake strategy in a separate, detailed communication shortly. What we can already say: our long-term direction is to ensure the lowest effective rake paid by players. You are the heart of the pokercommunity, and we will always make sure that players have a partner-site to really trust and have beatable games - This is one of our core principles and you have our word on this. We hear your feedback clearly and will respond to it transparently. Thank you again for your trust and support. The CoinPoker Team

@theoldgreywolf He is a two time WS MVP. I don't think he (they) are stopping the other players. Seager never was a team leader, Its langfords/Jung team now, just as planned.

I love Marcus and Seager as much as the next guy…but there’s no question there’s a different, night-and-day vibe about this team now…they’re grinding like they haven’t all year and seem to be having more fun…Kevin Pillar never said who he was talking about…could it be?

@brianneubert Playoff teams have no problems with him, probably because cowboys r behind. I'm a bears fan living in Dallas, so i got my own problems. Feeling better about Purdue football this year, adults in the room.

Good with a lead, huh? You just described every great pass-rusher ever. Smart teams run the ball right at pass-rushers because they are heading upfield and creating gaps behind him. And running the ball at them might slow them down if they’re in a read-and-react system. You are completely disregarding all the plays other people get to make because of the resources offenses have to dedicate to one guy.

This is hilarious. No real explanation or even a detailed explanation. Just an apology and a spread the blame statement inferring that 25 people who work for NYRA are oblivious and incompetent. youtu.be/jzUgv_XdMIQ?si…
