Steven Bartlett says a few glasses of wine ruined the next 3 days of his life “It's one of those areas where you don't understand the hidden cost until you really give it up for a while. I stopped drinking at 30 years old. I'm now 33. When I was 31, I thought, I'll have a drink again because now I could really A/B test it. I had a year of not drinking, decided to have a drink again” “It ruined three days of my life. I had a couple of glasses of wine, didn't get drunk. It ruined three days of my life because of the domino effect it caused” “I got worse sleep that night, and then because I got worse sleep that night, I ate more poorly the next day because my dopamine system or whatever, the cortisol system was all messed up. I podcasted worse. I didn't go to the gym that day or the day after because I felt really bad. I then slept worse, and I could track all of this on my Whoop”

First Nike ad that gave me chills since No Cinderellas, and it’s not even real. It’s by a 20 yr old designer named Asher Hyde. Nike creative is getting lapped by kids.

Lieutenant Governor Flanagan, with every ounce of sassy science teacher I have left in me on this particular Memorial Day morning — let me ask you something. Where was this energy when George Floyd was on his FIRST arrest? His fifth? His NINETEENTH? Where was the family, the community, the collective outpouring of love and grief when he was serving time for an armed home invasion — in which he and his associates held a gun to a woman's stomach while her children watched their home get ransacked for drugs and money? Where was "nothing will bring him back to his loved ones" when he was ACTIVELY CHOOSING to put a firearm against a woman in her own home? Where was Gianna's family when her father's drug addiction had completely consumed him? When he overdosed in March 2020 and was hospitalized? When he was passed counterfeit bills at a convenience store on May 25, 2020 — the LAST decision of his life? You want to talk about his little girl? WHERE. WAS. THE. FAMILY. during the nineteen arrests that preceded that day? I will tell you where they were NOT — they were not in Arlington. They were not in a flag-draped coffin. They were not clearing IEDs in Fallujah or breathing burn pit smoke in Kandahar or bleeding out in a Humvee in Mosul so that you could post THIS insufferable, intellectually vacant, weapons-grade tone-deaf thread on Memorial Day. All life has value, Lieutenant Governor. I believe that as a science teacher and as a Christian. But not all lives are equally worth commemorating on the ONE day this nation sets aside for people who gave EVERYTHING honorably in service to this country. George Floyd did not give his life for this country. George Floyd made a series of choices — documented, adjudicated, on court record — that put him on the trajectory that ended on that street corner. That is not my opinion. That is the public record. You know what his legacy should be? A cautionary tale. A classroom lesson. "This is what happens when a brilliant young man with a future in front of him gets consumed by addiction and crime and the people around him let it happen." THAT is a story worth telling. THAT might actually save a kid somewhere. Instead, flibbertigibbets like you turn him into a martyr, slap his face on a billboard, and spend Memorial Day telling Minnesotans to "gather and honor his life" — while not a single post from your office honors the Minnesota soldiers buried under white crosses who never pointed a gun at anyone who did not deserve it. You have miles to go before you reach mediocre, and somehow you keep finding ways to cover less ground every year. Quinn's Law #9: to liberals, intentions are more significant than outcomes. You INTEND to champion racial justice. The OUTCOME is that you spend the day honoring a man whose own life story is a masterclass in what not to do — while the families of actual heroes watch their loved ones' sacrifice get ignored by the very government those heroes died defending. You are what happens when a participation trophy gets sworn into office. @GuntherEagleman @catturd2 @JoJoFromJerz But what do I know — I am only a science teacher who uses the public court record instead of a political narrative, and a medically retired Army combat medic who knows EXACTLY whose life deserves a Memorial Day post. #MAGA #Veterans #Trump

We live in a country where a Connecticut senator lies about the president censoring media figures, deceives the American public into believing so, and then criticizes a comedic social media post of the president exercising his free speech. Why? Because the senator wants to suppress opposing political viewpoints.

Ilhan Omar. Shri Thanedar. Pramila Jayapal. All born in foreign countries, none were citizens by birth. All sitting in the United States Congress. All making clear every single day their loyalty is not to America. We just introduced a long overdue joint resolution proposing a constitutional amendment to require Members of Congress, federal judges, and Senate-confirmed officers to be natural born citizens. This is the very same standard the President and Vice President are already required to meet. The people writing America's laws, confirming America's judges, and representing America on the world stage should have one loyalty: America. Not any other country. For too long we have allowed foreign born members to hold seats in this government while making clear they are America last, not America first. We see it every day. This constitutional amendment will put an end to it.

🚨#BREAKING: Hundreds of people have just shown up to the funeral of 98-year old John Bernard Arnold III, a WW2 veteran with no known relatives. The public was invited to attend to ensure the veteran was honored and not laid to rest alone. Hundreds came. Absolutely beautiful.

Matt Maiocco was asked at what point does it not make any sense for the 49ers to hang on to Brandon Aiyuk: “Maybe we’re already there. They have him under contract and they probably don’t want to set the precedent of 'If you’re disgruntled and you want out of your contract, we will let you out of your contract'. If Brandon really wanted to press the issue and force the 49ers hand, I don’t know what’s keeping him from showing up in Santa Clara and walking into the building and acting as if he’s still part of the team. I can guarantee you that the 49ers don’t want him around the players who are still there. If there was ever something that would force the 49ers to release him that day, it would be if he showed up and said 'Hey, I’m ready. Let’s start OTAs'. That could be something he might want to do.” via: @KNBR

After the SCOTUS ruling on Calais/VRA, Democrats will now likely lose up to: -20 Congressional seats -191 state legislative seats Once you add in the 2030 Census reapportionment, they will likely lose another 12+ Congressional seats and 12 Electoral votes. This means they will effectively cease to be a national party in America. Winning the 2016 election and getting those 3 SCOTUS picks changed the course of world history.
Andrew Kolvet@AndrewKolvet

Stacey Abrams explains why Democrats are so distraught over the SCOTUS ruling against racially gerrymandered districts: "We could lose 19 to 20 congressional seats, but we could lose up to 191 state legislative seats." Now you know why the vile rhetoric has ramped back up. Everyone stay safe out there.
