This afternoon @SmithdownPrimY6 have been looking at Python coding. Children investigated the Edu blocks website. We then looked at how we can use python coding to create different shapes. #Smithdowncomputing

At @MGLWorldNews we have worked hard to design a scheme of work that is accessible to our schools. The quizzes we have devised give great feedback on a child's progress. Children @Year6RiceLane completed their end of unit assessments.

Yesterday at @teresaoflisieux Year 3 and Year 5 had a great day using the Sphero Indis. They are little robots that respond to colour, each colour mat performs a different directional move - some of the tracks they built were amazing! Well done! @MGLWorldNews

4LD have enjoyed their final lesson on ‘Branching Databases’ in computing this half term. We have learned what data is, what a database is and how to create, use and search branching databases @MGLWorldNews

Today at @NorthwayPrimary Year 1 have been working to understand algorithms and how to give instructions using the Bee-Bot emulator. They worked well in partners to follow an algorithm given to them. @MGLWorldNews

Today at @NorthwayPrimary Year2 have been working super hard and looking at new ways to code. They have discovered how much easier a repeat loop can make things and recording their own sounds using voice recorder. Well done! @MGLWorldNews
