Anyone have any experience with home warranty companies? I've always thought they were a scam and never even considered one until recently when a few guys at work said they had been pleasantly surprised by American Home Shield. I'm thinking of paying the $500 since I'll probably need a water heater and HVAC replacement soon (just based on the age of the units).
