@pirateconductor @phillsholes @cadlymack This would be an incidental disclosure, not intentional. Technically a violation, yes. But HHS recognizes these can occur and focuses on training and a review of processes rather than fines and punishment.
English

@phillsholes @cadlymack Yes it is, considering most bills contain information about procedures performed.
English

@cadlymack I remember when honest mistakes could be made and people were forgiving. I'm not saying this wasn't an error and a giant whoops but man... I miss when an "I'm truly sorry" could make things right.
English

@GovBobFerguson You'd be more help if you would just keep your damn mouth shut!
English

@katbird4unc56 @TheCalvinCooli1 I don't want to see someone's hairy ass arm pits while I'm eating a $100 steak.

What’s “offensive” to one is not “offensive” to another - paying $300 to eat out for 2 plus the tip then being told what to wear or not wear is “offensive” to me!!! I understand some people may show up in PJs in this day and time so a certain amount of instruction regarding the dress code is necessary. I’d rather buy a nice steak at our local meat store and eat at home and save several hundred dollars!!
English

🚨New: Ruth's Chris Steak House has a new dress code “business casual” for customers to wear proper attire with diners who don't comply being relegated to the bar.
“Kindly remove all hats when entering the restaurant. Guests wearing ball caps are asked to dine in the bar/lounge."
“The following attire is not permitted in our dining rooms: Gym wear, pool attire, tank tops, clothing with offensive graphics or language, revealing clothing, or exposed undergarments.”
How do you feel about this?

@MuirFalls @DrNadolsky Thank you. It goes to show the importance of informed consent. I'm really not sure our healthcare system is doing a great job of that. But, this has made me better understand that not all people's struggles are visible
English

@JCCC629 @DrNadolsky Thank you for sharing. I’m so sorry this has happened to your vision. You were just trying to improve your health!

Rapid fire glp-1 med myth busting
- no difference from placebo in pancreatitis
- medullary thyroid cancer seen in rats not humans (humans don’t have GLP-1 receptors there while rats do)
- muscle loss is same as caloric restriction
- gastric emptying slows initially but goes closer to normal after months. No strong data for permanent issues other than random lawsuits.
- help with weight loss via appetite. They are not metabolism boosters (yet)
- they do have multiple benefits beyond weight loss

@MuirFalls @DrNadolsky A simple retinal scan that most any optometrist can do for less than a couple hundred bucks may have altered my decision to start or use sema.
English

@DrNadolsky The key is having the proper care team after an event like that happens... I was lucky in that regard.
English

@DrNadolsky As you know, all side effects are assumptive and very difficult to prove absolute cause -- but the sedimentation rate and CRP were WNL eliminating AAION. We'll never know the absolute cause but obvi eliminated taking GLP1
English

@DrNadolsky NAION is possible with uncontrolled SA. My CPAP therapy is extremely effective with average AHI of 1.5.
English

@JCCC629 Ah that is terrible. Any other risk factors like other blood pressure meds or sleep apnea etc?
