This book is perfection. It's small but it packs a mighty punch!
Great videos to follow along and show the application of key concepts.
I love the "keep, stop, & start" at the end of each chapter.
If you are new to the science of reading this book is for you.

@SaraSavoia_ I appreciate things that make me think and ask questions. I read the company’s information about this media text (someone had posted it) - I learned so much.

@thismomloves I have not completed a study nor would I consider myself an expert but with my 20+ years of teaching I would have to say the pencil grips don't make the handwriting better but allows them to learn how to hold a pencil properly. The benefit of markers is less pressure is required.

Here is a short note to share with families that outlines what decodable books are + helpful reading strategies.
It also gives families a few options to access decodables that are free to read at home.

@Pro_IT_Guy @justinflationcr @MicheleMFSC @ONT_Dad Not teachers....educational assistants, DECEs, etc.

@mguts02 @justinflationcr @MicheleMFSC @ONT_Dad that is simply ridiculous for teachers to be collecting unemployment with the salary that they draw...
English

@justinflationcr @MicheleMFSC @Pro_IT_Guy @ONT_Dad They do not get paid for the time off. Many have to collect unemployment.
English

@MicheleMFSC @Pro_IT_Guy @ONT_Dad Three months worth? Where can you get that in the private sector? And earn a full time wage with nothing more than a grade 12 education.
English

@TSchmiedtke @hollycarter85 @ONT_Dad Our school board has our kids in special education classes still coming to school so not too sure how that complies with the health and safety for those students....no testing of water, no clean bathrooms...and that goes for staff too
English

@hollycarter85 @ONT_Dad That’s the irony. We had to be in the school bc spec Ed kids couldn’t learn from home. We were not paid essential worker pay and now it’s okay for the spec Ed kids to not be in school? Gotta love the double standards!
