@Bayside_Bull @CoachBHodgson @SSN_USF @BasesOnBulls Every coach they interviewed I’m sure said those words…which are the words all of us and Higgins want to hear. They are all excellent salespeople when they interview for a job. In reality few of these high level coaches will stick around when offered a better opportunity.

@CoachBHodgson @SSN_USF @BasesOnBulls We need a HC who’s different & believes in their ability to build a giant. A coach that builds a legacy instead of skip town to a program built by prior legends. We need a HC who we can build a statue of, not someone looking to cash a check in the shadow of another man’s statue

@ayeshajavedd11 @Geniustechw Once arm was removed, nobody was in specific danger at that time. A mask could be put over her face if they felt unsafe. They’re not allowed to hit out of retribution if the suspect is subdued. An additional charge can be added to her for the bite.

@ayeshajavedd11 @Geniustechw Male/ female officer or male/ female perpetrator. Perpetrator should be treated the same way regardless of their sex or the sex of the officer. Those facts should make no difference. Did not need to strike the perp. That was a knee jerk reaction of anger

@SimonBernard1st @otokyo__ @Matt_Pinner Done both for sure. Our first phone was rotary and I pirated my friends purchased albums by recording cassette to cassette if I like the album. Stereo systems were sold with dual cassettes for this purpose.

Brian Hartline has been ON FIRE since taking over as HC of the South Florida Bulls. 🔥 South Florida currently has a Top-20 Transfer Portal class, according to 247 Sports. This is higher ranking than Florida, Florida State, UCF, and Florida Atlantic. On top of that, there isn’t even an AAC team within the Top-50. 🤯 So far, the Bulls have landed all of the following out of the Portal: QB Michael Van Buren (LSU) QB Luke Kromenhoek (Miss State) WR Arhmad Branch (Purdue) WR Jaron Glover (Miss State) Edge C.J. Hicks (Ohio State) DL Zavion Hardy (South Carolina) DL Asani Redwood (WVU) DL Terry Simmons (Duke) LB Grayson Howard (Florida) CB Amon Lane-Ganus (Auburn) CB Teddy Foster (Florida) S Malcolm Ziglar (UNC) S Israel Boyce (WVU) Hartline is putting together an incredible Portal class thus far. 📈 Do not be surprised if USF is competing for that Group of Five Playoff spot next season. 🏝️

@TheProfitPup @DiscussingFilm I think you’re right. That’s why when Scorsese complained about marvel films, it was dumb. If you want to make high brow movies, then show them at film festivals and such. If you want to make money and movies that appeal to the audience, then give the audience what they want.

This is actually a masterclass in audience-first creation. The best creators don’t fight how people consume, they study it, adapt to it, & still try to deliver something worth watching. Matt Damon describing Netflix’s notes isn’t a complaint about “dumbing down.” It’s raw intel from someone tuned into the current reality of viewer behavior. Smart brands, musicians, writers, & yes, even filmmakers, have always adjusted pacing, hooks, and repetition to match attention patterns. The only difference now is the data is brutal & immediate. Respect to the artists who can thread that needle: grab someone in the first 5 minutes & still tell a story with soul. That’s the real flex in 2026. What do you think, adaptation or surrender? 🎬

Matt Damon explains Netflix films have to “reiterate the plot 3-4x in the dialogue because people are on their phones” “A standard way to make an action movie, you usually have 3 set pieces and they kinda ramp up to the big one with all the explosions…. Now, they're like, ‘Can we get a big one in the first 5 minutes? We want people to stay tuned in.’” (Source: @joerogan)

@Jeremy3FL @JennaLaineESPN The problem is the hair if he’s as good as advertised, he won’t be here long. If he’s mediocre, he may be around for a little while. I’m afraid you can’t really have it both ways.

@JennaLaineESPN Hopefully he’s as good as advertised! And hopefully if he’s that good, he stays for the long term to build USF into a consistent contender and helps to fill the new stadium and get them into a better conference!

@underthelatone @NJD316 @Variety Good point. Hmmm however maybe that’s something that might make the movie not so great. If a vast majority of people dont get it…sorry it’s a bad movie. Should have been created in such a way by the director so that it would be more “gettable”

@NJD316 @Variety whilst this may be true, a big reason why people don’t like movies is because the don’t get it. i studied film. and whenever i would invite family or friends to watch films, if they didn’t like it, they straight up said ‘i don’t get it’.

Jennifer Lawrence says "it's so awful" when you worked hard on a movie you love and then the world hates it. "I’ve had so many experiences of working so hard on something, loving something so deeply, and then releasing it to the world, and the world just being like, ‘Boo! Hate you!’ It is so awful. And [yet] somehow, I read a script, I meet with the director, we get on set, we start doing it, and somehow I’m able to forget that this part of the process will happen. I mean, I’m very blessed and very lucky. But it’s a very scary few months," Lawrence told V Magazine. “My husband was so confused because he doesn’t have as much experience with this stuff. So I was telling him about my anxiety, and he was like, ‘But the movie’s incredible.’ And I was like, ‘I know, but that doesn’t matter. People might not get it.’ And he was like, ‘But they’re wrong.’ Like, as if that was supposed to make me feel better." Read more here: variety.com/2025/film/news…

@Variety To just say “they don’t get it” is deeply condescending and dismissive. People having opinions you don’t like or pointing out things about your movie that don’t work shouldn’t be met with “you didn’t get it”. When do talent actually learn to take criticism?

@auterheven @RTB_HRoss Profound thought. NOTHING in the universe is indeed ever truly random. Not even the toss of a coin. We don’t have the ability to observe all of the factors in every situation.

@RTB_HRoss There is no such thing as "inbuilt randomness into the laws of physics", our physics' theoreticians are just too dim-lighted to comprehend why the world is so fundamentally unpredictable
