@bunsenbernerbmd Great pix of the dogs! A correction: the name of the bacteria in humans is Porphyromonas gingivalis, and Porphyromonas gulae in dogs.

Dogs have a bacteria that causes teeth disease called Porphyromanas, while humans have GINGIVALIS. It's pretty even on which mouth has worse little nasties in it though. So WHY do people still think a dog's mouth is so clean?

A Dog's Mouth is Cleaner than a Toilet Seat! Have you heard this before? What about: A DOGS MOUTH IS CLEANER THAN YOUR MOUTH! Heard that one? We have. It's not true. Well, not really. Well. It could be true. It's complicated and weird. Let's GO!

White banded digger bees in flight. The These are my favourite and let’s be honest probably the easiest bees to catch in flight because of their colour and the fact that they hover once in a while.

@CarlBovisNature We have Carolina Wrens here in Massachusetts, USA. I see and hear them more in the summer, when they are the loudest bird for their size.

@growingwisdom I have a few tomatoes (even some flowers) and peppers but my ground cherries got zapped by the last frosty night a few weeks ago.

Although I've had a light frost at the house, nothing strong enough to stop the tender plants so far. Still have peppers as well. Just harvested a few tomatoes. Very late for all of this. Even ground cherries still going.

Some birds not only have the ability to fly but also the ability to magically hover in place.
