@bunsenbernerbmd Great pix of the dogs! A correction: the name of the bacteria in humans is Porphyromonas gingivalis, and Porphyromonas gulae in dogs.

Dogs have a bacteria that causes teeth disease called Porphyromanas, while humans have GINGIVALIS. It's pretty even on which mouth has worse little nasties in it though. So WHY do people still think a dog's mouth is so clean?

A Dog's Mouth is Cleaner than a Toilet Seat! Have you heard this before? What about: A DOGS MOUTH IS CLEANER THAN YOUR MOUTH! Heard that one? We have. It's not true. Well, not really. Well. It could be true. It's complicated and weird. Let's GO!

I've never seen critters pull up bulbs and pile them up in little piles. If you find this just stick them back in they'll take.

@CrytzerFry Really appreciate your photos, as we are having a blizzard back east. Does the desert bloom like this every year, or is this unusual?

Y'all... the desert is so vibrant right now. The lower portion of our property is sporting so many Mexican #poppies. That's The Saddle of the Galiuro Mountains in the background.

@growingwisdom I heard one a couple of weeks ago. This week we have mourning doves, chickadees, finches and cardinals singing.

@macro_action Thank you! Those are beautiful! I appreciate how patient you must be to photograph flying insects.

White banded digger bees in flight. The These are my favourite and let’s be honest probably the easiest bees to catch in flight because of their colour and the fact that they hover once in a while.

@CarlBovisNature We have Carolina Wrens here in Massachusetts, USA. I see and hear them more in the summer, when they are the loudest bird for their size.

If you see this photo of a Wren please leave a comment. 😊 People are usually surprised to learn that they're the most common bird in the UK! 😮😍 When did you last see a Wren? 🐦

@growingwisdom I have a few tomatoes (even some flowers) and peppers but my ground cherries got zapped by the last frosty night a few weeks ago.

Although I've had a light frost at the house, nothing strong enough to stop the tender plants so far. Still have peppers as well. Just harvested a few tomatoes. Very late for all of this. Even ground cherries still going.
