We're on our way to Saginaw to support the investigation of the Saginaw Country Animal Control into allegations of sick animals that potentially pose a threat to public health. Our Statewide Response Team is taking supplies and equipment and will offer assistance to the team.

Down power lines are especially dangerous for animals – if you see a downed line, keep your pets away from the area and call your local power company. If you see an animal outside without adequate shelter, call Michigan Humane at 313-872-3401.

The forecast for southeastern Michigan is expected to fluctuate throughout the day, with more dangerous icy conditions anticipated. It’s critical to pay special attention to pets when they’re outdoors.
