Some physical and care jobs, like construction and healthcare support, see smaller but growing AI impact. Impact doesn’t mean job loss: AI augments human work, improving efficiency and output. market talk - wanted to give my thoughts as to where i think we are/why currently think our 60k bottom is quite strong and likely marks it at least locally my main reason being is that around this time last year simply news regarding tariffs would send the market into a negative spiral currently all things considered, extreme geopolitical events (one of the craziest if not the craziest in the last decade) and rising tensions around global trade - the market isn't doing too poorly what most don't consider is conditioning, and how repeated exposure to a stimulus leads to a diminished response - trump and his repeated "unpredictable" decisions have led the market to become desensitized to many of these things - this is reflected in the prices of risk assets a few situations/scenarios that i think can push the markets lower if they were to happen includes: - a major geopolitical player (china, russia, etc) opposes/retaliates against the states - a major supply chain is disrupted - AI critical infrastructure is disrupted leading to lower capex again not speaking to the likelihood of these things more so always just like to consider possible scenarios
