@Prestigious_Gt @MalachyOdo1 And she is right...you are backsliding, not because you no longer give tithe but because of your mindset about what tithe and giving entails. Social media and people who do heavily preach on prosperity have made people lose the meaning and essence of tithing and giving in church.

When I was in Nigeria, I never missed my monthly tithe. When I got to the UK, I sent tithe to my home church about twice, then stopped. My mom called me about not sending tithe to the home church anymore. I told her we don’t pay tithe in the UK, and even offering isn’t compulsory. I also told her we eat every Sunday, and there’s a place you can pick up free food if you don’t have any at home. All the tithe we paid in church in Nigeria where did it go? There was never a time we had food for the poor or a room where food was kept. Isn’t that the essence of tithe? Her response was: “You are backsliding.” 😂

I have a question for you, what is your honest opinion about tithing ? Let’s have it!!

@CommandCode_ai Since I am not good with writing g tests and documentation for API, though I understand the basics, AI helped write these tests and docs. What a good time to be a developer.

Last year, AI went from “nice to try” to something many developers use every day. From coding to debugging to learning new tools, it showed up everywhere. What did you use AI for the most in 2025?

A whole Nigeria. Now reduced to being a vassal of a country less than ⅓ its size. How humiliating!

@_tea_anna (3/3) Don't be disappointed. Look for people that you can form a group and build something meaningful together, that is the essence of the internships. Any one by this post who is ready to be part of a group should Indicate so we brainstorm and start something together.

@_tea_anna (2/3) These experiences are everywhere, The best program I attended was that of Andela at Lagos, it was enlightening and rich. Though I also had a mentor in the program who spoke badly of my work, discouraging me, but he later came to apologized when they heard me complaining...

I decided to leave @hnginternship today. The level of unprofessionalism from some of their mentors is honestly disappointing. I spent the entire night working on a task, kept an instance running, waiting for it to be graded.

I just read the dissenting judgment delivered by Justice Helen Ogunwumiju, JSC, in Sunday Jackson v. State. By refusing to affirm the execution of a man who lawfully defended himself from an armed herdsman, she upheld the constitutional right to life and safeguarded the integrity of Nigeria’s criminal jurisprudence. @kcemenikex @Kleb82 @thefunkeadeoye @fmvikky Ur way of expression also has a fitting description, but I chose not to use it bcos words can be offensive, reason I pointed that using 'stupid' is uncivil. Respect in conversations isn't about having the best description but about choosing words that encourage meaningful dialogue

@DavidHundeyin If you’re asking Nigerians or Africans in diaspora to return back home to help build Africa. In what enabling environment are you proposing this? These are questions that’s on the lips of every Nigerian diaspora’s. The country is dissatisfying for anyone to return to.

Trump is a gift to the world specifically because of issues like this. He has made it possible for conversations like this to be held openly. Sometime in the next decade, the US is going to do something that will disabuse educated Africans and Indians once and for all, of the notion that the vast majority of western white folks can ever see them with anything other than disgust, revulsion and envy. Too many of the most educated people in the Global South are still living in a false reality that allows them to deny their true place in the world and shirk their duty to the countries of origin. Instead of dedicating their energies to the political and economic emancipation of Africa, and the growth of India into the global no. 2 economy it really ought to be, too many educated people from both places are currently satisfied to be "First Black Person To Achieve xyz" and "Indian FAANG CEO" in America. Nigerians are happy being "the most educated immigrant group in the US" while their country's GDP has HALVED in 9 years and Nigerian society is literally being dismantled brick by brick. The "I'm now American and have thus transcended where I come from" spell has our people in a chokehold. That illusion of "integration" needs to be comprehensively destroyed, and Trump's people are helping that along wonderfully. When they start enacting Tulsa, Oklahoma on successful African and Indian immigrants (it's only a matter of time now, white folks never change), our people will finally get on that plane and return to fight for their place in the world instead of trying to integrate into someone else's fever dream. It's just a matter of time now.

End the H-1B visa. Extremely talented individuals can still come to America by applying for an O-1 visa (Individuals With Extraordinary Ability). The last thing we need in this country is a flood of computer janitors who committed visa fraud to get here.
