Officers of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission interrupted a surgery to make an arrest at the University of Uyo Teaching Hospital in Akwa Ibom State on Tuesday. Hospital staff said that EFCC personnel “dragged” the surgeon out of surgery. Footage also shows tear gas.👇🏾

Anybody whose brain is functioning knows that since the blue and red metro lines started working and many roads were repaired and constructed for example the Lekki-Epe Expressway and coastal highway has caused traffic to reduce on the roads.

This collaborative approach will significantly complement government efforts and expand access to sanitation facilities across the state. At the same time, we continue to enforce environmental sanitation laws. Individuals caught engaging in open defecation are being arrested and prosecuted in accordance with the law. These measures are necessary to protect public health, preserve dignity, and maintain a cleaner environment for all. Access to sanitation is a shared responsibility. While government continues to expand infrastructure, residents and businesses must also play their part in ensuring Lagos remains clean, safe, and habitable. #CleanerLagos #GreaterLagos
