Nakakahiya, no? Sinusuka ka ng law school batchmates mo. Si Loren din, tinanggal din ang portrait sa alma mater. Nakakahiya as in.
Thea Tan@imtheatan
Alan Peter Cayetano’s law school batchmates are calling him out for enabling a constitutional crisis. Sabi nila, stop power-tripping the Senate, face the Ombudsman, and quit shielding Bato dela Rosa from the law under the guise of fake "protective custody." Literal na tinuruan siya ng separation of powers, pero bakit anyare sa memory natin, gurl? Fiat justitia ruat caelum. Let justice be done though the heavens fall!

'WE'RE VERY CONFIDENT WITH THE EVIDENCE THAT WE HAVE'
Kumpiyansa si House prosecutor Rep. Lorenz Defensor sa ebidensya na hawak nila kaugnay sa impeachment complaints laban kay Vice Pres. Sara Duterte.
"The evidence being very obvious and very clear, It speaks for itself... We have witnesses to present and we are certain that once the evidence is presented in the Senate impeachment court we can secure a conviction," saad ni Rep. Defensor.

⚠️ Now that General Aplasca has been proven to be firing against NO ONE and that the Senate was NOT under attack, Alan Peter Cayetano should resign if he has any delicadeza left in his body.
But of course he won’t.
That’s why he should be ousted. 🤥

a whole fucking production.
sobrang demonyo. sinadya talaga nila na sundan and may maiwan sa loob na media para masabing under attack sila and palabasin na nbi ang nagsimulang manggulo.
yung takot at trauma ng media at sibilyan—all of that for the sake of protecting a criminal? that's PURE EVIL.

So, it turns out, my theory was right: the Senate drama was all to protect Sara Duterte!
The receipts in this interview with Senator Bato dela Rosa completely expose the real plot behind the entire Senate circus.
1. Did you hear him? He literally admitted on camera that one of his main reasons for "resurfacing" from his six-month hiding streak was because he knew an impeachment trial was coming.
2. He explicitly stated that they needed him to be the crucial "13th vote" to pull off a change of Senate leadership (the coup orchestrated by Senator Alan Peter Cayetano). Why? Because the Senate leadership controls the rules, the timing, and the schedule of when the chamber convenes.
3. This entire staged drama and leadership shakeup wasn't about saving Bato from the ICC. It was a highly coordinated, desperate stunt to install a cooperative Senate leadership that can stall, delay, and completely disrupt convening as an impeachment court for VP Sara Duterte!
While the public was distracted by the chaos and the shootout inside the chamber, the real game was always about protecting the Vice President from her accountability era.
They used Bato as a pawn to secure the 13th vote, changed the leadership, and are now using the drama to buy Sara time.
They are NOT lawmakers anymore; they’re a full-blown defense team disguised as a Senate majority!

OSG: BATO'S ACTIONS PLACED HIM WITHIN THE DEFINITION OF FUGITIVE
JUST IN: The Office of the Solicitor General (OSG) submitted its comment on the two petitions filed by the camp of Sen. Ronald "Bato" dela Rosa before the Supreme Court.
The OSG is asking the SC to deny Dela Rosa's petitions for Urgent Manifestation With Omnibus Motion and Extremely Urgent Supplemental Manifestation With Motion due to supposed lack of merit.
The comment also said Dela Rosa's actions have placed him within the definition of a "fugitive" from justice. The OSG mentioned he exhibited an alleged "deliberate act to evade his arrest" after resisting submission, refusal of his counsel to disclose his location, leaving Senate, and the supposed admission of his spouse that he "escaped". | via @chedcgatchalian, bnc.ph

MOUNTING CALLS FOR CAYETANO TO STEP DOWN
SAMASA-Nagkaisang Tugon Alumni called on Senate President Alan Peter Cayetano to step down, saying the Senate’s handling of Sen. Bato dela Rosa’s protective custody and eventual escape exposed failures in judgment, leadership and accountability.
The former student leaders said the incident further eroded public trust in institutions and reinforced perceptions that justice works differently for the powerful.
“Sa ilalim ng kanyang pamumuno, ang Senado ay naging isang entablado para sa pulitikal na palabas, kalituhan, at delikadong laro,” the statement reads.
“Kung may natitira pang pakiramdam si Cayetano ng pampulitikang pananagutan, at oo, kahıhıyan, dapat nıyang kılalanın ang pınsalang idinulot niya sa Senado.”
