@andrewbertaina We have like 17 days of kids actually in school between now and winter break.

Me: Yay! A one day break from teaching! Maybe I’ll catch up a bit. Local schools: Your kids have a five day weekend 😒

@michaelLdon Thank you for coming out and being a part of the evening. Kyoko had a nice addendum to my answer. She said that it’s also easier to write fiction because you can use a character when you’ve wearied of the self, and I agree :)
