Was discussing what you guys are referring to as Networked art (I believe ? To me this always had another meaning under digital art I history) with my gf Annelise Stern (we’re both art nerd) she mentioned the concept was oddly similar to the French art critic Nicolas Bourriaud concept « Relational Aesthetic » I gave it a read and couldn’t agree more. Worth a read !
