The Guardian: “Net migration down by three-quarters, the biggest fall in NHS waiting lists for 17 years, knife crime cut by 10%, the economy growing the fastest in the G7, rising wages, energy bills and petrol prices held down, the biggest sustained rise in defence spending since the cold war, a massive expansion of free childcare …
If Keir Starmer did tub-thumping lists of Labour’s achievements in the style of Gordon Brown, he would not actually have a shortage of things to talk about.”
During the two years of Labour government, following fourteen years of Tory mismanagement, there have actually been significant improvements in Britain. Why does the Tory media not report them?

The Online Safety Act should be repealed.
The principle at its core, to protect children and young people has been abused and used for political advantage.

This has happened to me twice.
Called HMRC after 3pm, obviously on hold for 20-30 minutes before someone speaks to you.
Both times call handlers with Liverpudlian accents. They work out that your call is going to take them close to or past 4pm (clocking off time I guess) and just cut you off. You don’t get a name and you’ve got zero chance of calling back and getting the same person.
No accountability
Zero effort
No respect for the taxpayers who fund their costly little lives.
It all needs clearing out.

@ZiaYusufUK Under UK law, “undue influence” is an electoral offence (Representation of the People Act 1983, s.115).
It covers attempts to interfere with the free exercise of the vote through “threats of detriment”, intimidation, or pressure. 1/

Today we announce a new policy:
In order to deport all illegal migrants in Britain, Reform will need to detain tens of thousands at a time.
Migrants will not be able to leave these detention centres, and each will be held there a couple of weeks before being deported.
So here’s our promise:
A Reform government will not put any migrant detention facilities in any constituency with a Reform MP.
Nor will we put them where Reform controls the council.
And of the remaining areas, we will prioritise Green controlled parliamentary constituencies and Green controlled councils to locate the detention centres.
Put simply, if you vote in a Reform council or Reform MP, we guarantee you won’t have a detention centre near you.
If you vote Green, there’s a good chance you will.
This is an important exercise in democratic consent, not just for our mass deportation policy, but for where the detention centres are placed.
Given @ZackPolanski openly advocates for open borders, I look forward to their warm embrace of this policy.

@F03148046 @bencsmoke Who’s paying and what are they buying?
English

@bencsmoke I mean it's not impossible that *someone* paid him £2k for this, just not the BBC
English

prove it? if you really did agree a £2k fee there will be evidence of that conversation or agreement happening so should be easy to counter the bbc’s claim that they only pay £150, right?
Thomas Skinner ⚒@iamtomskinner
@Jsmithy1999 @narindertweets No mate seriously. I honestly agreed £2000 for me to go on it🤣👍 And I agreeed that they pay me driver £400 on the night to take me and bring me back. Which he had already been paid. I wasn’t fishing. I was telling the truth 🤝😊👍
