Ádh mór oraibh to Maria and Sarah O’Neill and all their @AntrimLGFA teammates in the All Ireland Junior Football Final vs Louth on Sunday at 11.45am in Croke Park.
Hoping they have a great day in Croke Park and bring the cup back to Antrim and Ulster.

@CrossanBrendan Some read Brendan, elegantly put. The picture is brilliant!

A letter to all those who helped me over the years & who gave me a break when I needed it. Thank you.

@_MickyP_ Well you could label it that, only when he was moved out the first time he was Division 3 😂, someone else took them to Division 4. Then his ‘stint’ was one extra year? That was my point.
That all aside, your initial point is still valid.
English

@Michael_McCann8 That he did & more. Perhaps he would’ve made further progress. I wouldn’t call the second a stint though, I would label 2008-2014 the Baker Era. At the same time our shortcomings in 2012/13 I wouldn’t put on him. My point may be ‘cold heart of day’ stuff but I think it’s fair.
English

Since the inception of the 4 tiered National League format, the end of each Antrim management team’s reign has overseen a return/remain to/in Division 4. Enda McGinley’s charge the only exception. We should be targeting the consistency of a Fermanagh/Louth in the next 5 years.

@_MickyP_ Though, in his first reign, before he was unexpectedly changed last minute, he had taken us from Div 4, up to Div 2, then left them in Div 3. When he came back, he took over a team in Div 4. The point is he had two stints, I think without the break, he would have progressed them
English

@Michael_McCann8 Despite my affection for Baker and the great days he presided over, when he finally called it a day we remained in Div 4 (2014). I suppose my point is that it all seems cyclical. Some progress then back to the start.
English

@GAAjuggernaut Not sure I have seen many better than Kieran Thompson this year in any position
English

This is the team of the year so far. If you find yourself disagreeing, just take a wee step back and remember Jugger knows more than you do about it.
Open to debate.
**soupy would be there if he was given a fair dig by his manger but he hasn’t so he had to be left out (again ironically). Jugger.

@CrossanBrendan All the best with the next step Brendan, some boots to fill for anyone.

Great listen. ‘Rules that already existed’. Just implement them.

@GavD_10 @seanbrady12 Can’t be tackled within the first 4 metres, the tap and go can also be taken within 4 metres of where the foul happened. It’s not football. Just sort out what’s a consistent foul and apply it, then there is no need for any of them.
English

@Michael_McCann8 @seanbrady12 Did any free takers within shooting distance take a tap as part of their "routine"?
I can see someone doing it & a defender then coming running in for the tackle. I think technically the defender would be right???
