I made it to Jesus a couple years too late to tell this man that his books and his clips really helped. I will meet Jase one of these days and shake his hand and tell him the role his Dad played.

Presbyterian, if you can't say "Baptism Saves" (it does) then you not only need to re-read the reformers and our confessions, but you need to re-read scripture.

Down 70lb. I was miserable. I knew I had to change. I changed every part of my life. It was extremely hard & I felt like quitting. But today, I hit my goal weight. I cried tears of joy seeing the reward from years of commitment. All glory to God. My full story is below.

Me to my husband: have you seen the latest drama on x? Him: no Somehow he never knows about even the most viral of news. The other day he asked me to fix something on his account so I log in, his entire feed was just Lord of the Rings. No drama, just a bunch of hobbits.

Jesus took my son Joshua to heaven yesterday. It was not expected and we still don’t know what happened. Please pray for my family. We are keeping the faith, but there is so much pain. Praised be Jesus Christ, now and forever.

Jesus said, "It is written" three times while being tempted in the wilderness by Satan. All three of those "it is written" statements came from the same book of the Bible: Deuteronomy. It may not be the most exciting book, but Jesus used it to defeat the devil himself.

Because I care deeply for my soul and the souls of others, No! Please at least listen to truthful criticism of LSD. “But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.” Galatians 1:8-9 NKJV youtu.be/5uOqHX10OSA?si… https://youtube/hixS2s7NxSA?si=23-3zEkazdNB5-cX

A visual symphony of Scripture. The 66 books of the Bible connect through 1000’s of cross references in perfect harmony as proof of divine authorship across centuries & authors. Apocryphal writings, though not canonical, historically affirm the core biblical narrative.

@hodgetwins OR this is how sane people act to send a message that we strongly disagree with Candace and her lunacy. I’m not sure how you guys can’t see the evil in what she doing.

Recent studies in neuroscience and psychology are reframing ADHD not merely as a set of cognitive hurdles but as a powerful driver of breakthrough creativity and innovation. Long stereotyped for difficulties with focus, attention, and impulse control, individuals with ADHD traits often exhibit superior divergent thinking—the capacity to generate a wide array of novel ideas by connecting distant or unrelated concepts. This stems from reduced adherence to rigid mental frameworks, enabling freer conceptual expansion and the production of more original, unconventional solutions than neurotypical counterparts. Heightened mind-wandering, especially when deliberate (purposefully allowing thoughts to drift), acts as a fertile source for this creativity, bypassing conventional boundaries to yield abundant "outside-the-box" insights. Complementing this cognitive flexibility is a neurological drive for novelty rooted in lower baseline dopamine signaling. This creates a chronic need for stimulation, translating into exploratory, risk-tolerant behavior and a propensity for adventure—qualities that can disrupt routine settings but prove invaluable in dynamic fields. Impulsivity, often reframed as rapid action initiation, becomes a catalyst for pursuing bold ideas and seizing opportunities in high-stakes environments. These traits align closely with the profiles of many successful entrepreneurs, inventors, and pioneers. In fast-evolving creative and innovative economies, the ADHD brain's wiring for quick associative leaps, tolerance of uncertainty, and motivation through novelty-seeking provides a distinct edge, turning potential challenges into engines of originality and progress. Emerging evidence from 2025–2026 research reinforces this view: studies link stronger ADHD traits to elevated creative achievements via mediated mind-wandering, intuitive insight-driven problem-solving, and higher real-world inventive output, highlighting neurodiversity's role in fueling societal advancement. Well it's 9:20 pm here in New Zealand on a Wednesday night. In the past I would usually be about 9-10 beers deep at this stage. But as I'm chasing sobriety I have resisted that temptation. Looking forward to waking up without a hangover tomorrow and chasing the day! God bless!

At the end of 2021, I was diagnosed with necrotizing pancreatitis. I spent two months in the hospital — feeding tubes, GI tubes, PIC lines. I was closer to death than I ever want to be again. My doctors were able to control the damage, but I now live with half a pancreas. That’s what my alcoholism was doing to my body — even when I refused to see it.

This is normal believe it or not. It does get better—and quicker than you might think. Take it easy on yourself and be proud of small gains. I needed a new hobby and it turns out that I love walking and reading. Walking at the gym while listening/watching a funny show or podcast is my jam. It’s good to laugh. That led to light, entry level lifting; which led to the hobby of eating healthy. Life has become fun again. You probably didn’t want all that info 😬 just thought I’d share. All the best.

My doctor just called with my latest cholesterol & triglyceride results after 7 months—and wow. Previous: Total cholesterol: 269 Triglycerides: 978 Now: Total cholesterol: 192 Triglycerides: 168 First and foremost, thank you God for the courage and strength to make the changes I needed 🙏. I quit drinking alcohol completely. I eat clean—no fast food, no soda, fresh home-cooked meals as much as possible, and we avoid seed oils. Even with my messed-up back, I stay active: built a garden, cleared new trails in our forest, and of course typing on Twitter keeps these fingers ripped 🤣💪 Huge win for health. If you're struggling, small consistent changes really can move the needle this much. Grateful. #HomeMade #soberlife

Dr. Just called and told me to either quit drinking or I'm a Deadman. 975 Triglycerides and it should be 150. Pancreatic failure and liver failure are incoming otherwise I'm not sure what to do. This sucks for reals. My wife won't support me and quit as well and seeing booze in the house would make it impossible. And no I would never leave her. I don't think I can quit drinking seriously 😭

I heard a story about some fish suppliers who were having problems shipping cod from the East Coast. By the time it reached the West, it was spoiled. They froze it, but by the time it arrived, it was mushy. So, they decided to send it alive, but it arrived dead. They tried sending it alive again, but with one difference: They included a catfish in each tank. You see, catfish are the natural enemies of cod. By the time the cod arrived, they were alive and well because they had spent their trip fleeing the catfish.   Maybe God has put a catfish in your tank to keep you alive and well spiritually. He’s faithful that way. Maybe there’s a person at work who always has eight hard questions for you every morning regarding spiritual things. Maybe it’s that neighbor who is giving you a hard time for your faith in Jesus. Maybe it’s a spouse or a family member who doesn’t believe. You are wondering why this is happening. It’s like that catfish. That person is keeping you alert.

My 16-year-old asked this question tonight: Is Harper Lee the greatest one-hit-wonder of all time? I suggested Dexy's Midnight Runners, but let's be honest, they don't come close. So is it Harper Lee?
