@soundtoys You never know the measure of a company until something catostrophic like this happens and you need to work. And with @soundtoys I just don't have the time or patience to be chasing a revoked license that also needs to be activated on my end, but it won't let me and yeah. Bye.

Producers beware. I had some gear stolen and part of it was my iLok. Every single manufacturer so far have been able to get me new licenses deposited except for @soundtoys. I own ALL their plugins and they can't seem to figure out how to replace my old ones with new. $500 lost.

numerous times i'll tell a booker or venue "you need to book (artist)" and then follow up with a direct intro to the artist. the personal intro and connection has value. feels like many artists are too caught up in scarcity mentality to facilitate like that tho (?)

imagine if artists helped other artists get gigs. introduced each other to trusted and aligned bookers and venues. i’ve done this so many times for others but find it’s an extreme rarity in an independent ecosystem that desperately needs more village mentality and behavior…
