@GlennDOrdway I like them but they sounded so clueless on the topic. Add in the fact them at they think it’s just financial penalties that going over repeatedly gets you. No mention of draft penalties or the inability to make most trades.

I hear Felger & others claim Celtics can avoid repeater tax by just staying under the luxury tax for 2 of 4 yrs..so they are free to spend this year.. Not true..they must stay under for 2 consecutive seasons so you're fooling yourself if you think they are going to spend this yr

Unlike its other four partners (Fox, NBC, ESPN, Amazon), who are locked in 'til 2029/30, the NFL can exit its CBS deal anytime before Summer '27 via the change-of-ownership clause triggered by Skydance buying Paramount last year If negotiations go south, the NFL can ditch CBS ⤵️
