I've always liked the idea of programming, but I always fell off it after some time. After getting to know the story of @levelsio and @robj3d3 , I think I've got an answer for my problem. Pieter was producing music before startups. Rob studied computer science but admits he was never a "coder at heart." Both are driven more by creativity than by the craft of programming itself. They like building things, and code is just the tool they use to bring those ideas into reality. I realized that's true for me too. When I treated programming only as a career skill, it felt empty. But looking back, I've always loved creating things: filming and editing videos, making music, drawing. That's what puts me into a flow state. Vibe coding lines up perfectly with this. It's not about polishing code forever. It's about following the idea and seeing where it leads. For someone with ADHD like me, that's powerful.

Zmęczyło mnie krypto - obecnie to świat larpów, scamów i kłamców. Nie ma już czym się ekscytować i nawet za bardzo o czym pisać. Zostało kilka projektów, które mają sens, a reszta to wyciąganie kasy przez twórców. Zmęczyło mnie czytanie wysrywów ludzi, którzy nigdy się nie mylą, zawsze są w zysku, a do tego mają grono wyznawców, którzy dają się oszukiwać i nie mają szacunku do siebie, bo może uda się zarobić w końcu. Zmęczyło mnie wieszczenie o końcu świata, głodzie i ciągle straszenie. Zmęczyli mnie prorocy, którzy przewidzieli wszystko, bo zrobili 1000 predykcji i któraś w końcu weszła. Zmęczyło mnie czytanie jakimi to kotami ludzie nie są w AI po tygodniu używania Claude, nie pokazując przy tym żadnego produktu, a robiąc tutoriale jak odmienić życie przez AI. Zmęczył mnie poziom głupoty w komentarzach. Zmęczyło mnie czytanie ekspertów od geopolityki i strategii, którzy lepiej wiedzą od USA jak wojnę prowadzić, a jednocześnie nie potrafią dogadać się z somsiadem zza płotu. I kilka innych rzeczy, ale nie chce mi się dalej pisać.

I am in the process of building my first iOS app, but I've bought already: - iphone SE (2020) - 200zł ~ $54 - US sim card - 49zł ~ $13 As for VPN I will probably choose: - DansVPN - 2$/month Plan is to start warming up tik t0k acc, ship MVP of the app, get approved on app store and start learning marketing in practice

After 4 years I'm finally moving The new rent is quite a large chunk of my current monthly earnings so I've debated it a lot... Prices in Prague are killer, you spend on a small apartment what most people earn for their whole paycheck Unless people have a very high-paying job or are living from double income they cannot afford to live here It almost doesn't make sense to live here Still, I decided I wanna push myself and staying in a small cramped room isn't gonna do it I'm now paying $1,640/month (and it's actually a decent deal) which is quite insane imo but it is what it is Would love to hear - how much are you paying for an apartment in your country?

Yes but 90% of people who are reading this are a lot better positioned for this change than most of the population. (Probably heavy AI users, below <26yo, at least a bit of entrepreneurial/ growth mindset) The 30yo woman working in mid position in a bank clicking buttons in excel is cooked. If anyone has a job besides blue-collar, it’s us.

I'm not at all convinced by the wishful thinkers that AI is causing software development jobs to grow right now More realistically I think is ~90% are fired and the ~10% top devs are kept who (with AI) do the job of 10 devs in 1 Then besides that you do get natural growth of industries with the Jevons Paradox, which means AI causes decreased cost of labor/products/services, which causes total consumption to rise rather than fall But that will take a while I think, and the transition period is what we're in now and that will be rough I don't like wishful thinking, I prefer reality
