The U.S. is now a net oil exporter and produces the vast majority of its own crude. We import very little from the entire Middle East. It has nothing to do with Iran and the Strait of Hormuz. So why the fuck are oil companies price gouging Americans right now? I’ll tell you why: It’s to hurt President Trump’s approval ratings.
