@ABOVEtheCLOUDS8 @nickwalt Yup. It was interesting to learn that before trades happen, full MRI and medical reports are sent over. Drs give the thumbs up or down before the trade is sent in. He was fully cleared. Drs learned nothing new when Crosby went to Balt in person. Just cold feet.

Here's an updated Ravens roster and projected depth chart. Color-coded key in the bottom left. With only 56 spots filled on a 90-man roster, the Ravens could have a huge rookie class (11 draft picks + UDFA signings). No word yet on the 4 other ERFAs, so those are guesstimates.

Given long-term Maxx Crosby medical concerns — knowing what the Ravens just experienced with Nnamdi Madubuike — this is a smart pivot, despite Hendrickson’s age. Ravens will take bullets for the optics & timing, but it doesn’t appear they were alone on the *long-term* medical evaluation. A gamble EDC & co weren’t willing to make, especially given attached draft compensation, which is now back in their pocket. Wild.

For the record, I’m absolutely open to the idea that the Ravens and EDC acted nefariously If they did, they absolutely played Tom Brady and the Raiders
