Australia has released a brand of soda called "Kirks" in honor of Charlie, in some of the flavors he was said to love. So beautiful. #CharlieKirk #MAGA

I've had 3 mates ask me about "rebranding" in the last 2 weeks. Biz is tough out there. Everyone thinks a new name/logo will revitalise their business and drum up more interest. I hate this idea. It's dopamine chasing. Spending precious cash during a slow period when you need to be in the trenches doing operational stuff.

@JakeWolki Shoot me an email I’ll do a free review, with Smokey. It’s more about contributions margin per acquired user than ROAS. I.e. you could have a ROAS of 2, and that’s great if you make a slim profit on the first purchase and know that 40% of first buyers become repeats

I started some basic Facebook Ads marketing our Skin Care. Selling quite a lot of meat through those ads, which is confusing everyone that I know who works in the space and I have told. Marketing putting pig fat (lard) on your face and then someone clicking on that ad and buying beef mince and pork snags is awesome.

@Gundo_OG @JoshuaSteinman Second. Airtable is just universally elite. I own an agency and a packaging/signage manufacturing biz. Airtable all day, plugs into Make or Zapier for building automations. Its own inbuilt automations are pretty good too

@JoshuaSteinman We just use Airtable tbh - you aren't managing thousands of customers so it's probably fine. I've tried SF (much brain damage but Govcloud support), Copper, Microsoft Exchange 365. If you only have a hundred potential customers - Airtable is good enough.

Had a very good and detailed conversation with my friend President Putin. I thanked him for sharing the latest developments on Ukraine. We also reviewed the progress in our bilateral agenda, and reaffirmed our commitment to further deepen the India-Russia Special and Privileged Strategic Partnership. I look forward to hosting President Putin in India later this year. @KremlinRussia_E

At 21, I was alone in my apartment, burnt out, nearly bankrupt, and wondering if I’d made the biggest mistake of my life. I’d put nearly $1 million into building my startup. And it was failing. 🧵 I quit high school at 18. Moved from Tassie to Melbourne with nothing but a vision. I sold my entire crypto portfolio to fund Collective Shift. Then the tax bill hit. Revenue dried up. And I hit rock bottom. I was sick. I wasn’t sleeping. I barely left my room. No backup plan. Just a dream and the fear of letting it die. I’d sacrificed everything. My health, relationships, friendships… all for something that felt like it was slipping away. Most people don’t talk about this part. That brutal phase where you’ve gone all in and it still might not work. But nearly every founder I know has faced it. The difference is what you do next. Today, I woke up to an AFR article that shared this part of my story. And it reminded me just how far we’ve come. - We’re growing 100% year over year - The company was valued at $15M - We now work with CoinSpot, Coinbase, Swyftx and more And I’m still standing. I’ve learned a lot since then. Today, I treat life like a high-performance machine: • I track my sleep with Eight Sleep • I work with a running coach & PT • I’ve got a sauna, ice bath, and gym at home • I’ve hired a chef and cleaner • And I’ve built a world-class team around me at @cshift_io None of that is a flex. It’s how I protect my energy. It’s how I show up and keep building. It’s how I avoid going back to that place again. If you’re in the trenches right now, don't give up. Just know that the breakthrough usually comes right after the point where most people quit. Keep going. Keep building. Ben 👊

@mmazechaz @JoeyMannarinoUS Very confused by this. I’m Australian, the Free Trade Agreement in 2005 has meant we have zero tariff’s on US products, including Beef. You have a trade surplus with us. You’re welcome to try to sell US air freight steaks but in a saturated duopoly of supermarkets - good luck.

$26 Billion of Australian beef is sold in the United States every single year. We sell $0 in beef to Australia. NOT. A. SINGLE. DOLLAR. OF. BEEF. Even though Australia & the USA had a mutual agreement to buy eachother’s beef on the condition that 100% of the cattle were produce of that country. Of course, America buys the Australian beef. Australia doesn’t live up to their end. Why, again, are people mad at tariffs?

@JoeyMannarinoUS You have a trade surplus with us. Agriculture generally (including Beef) and Minerals are our primary exports, Education third. Your Beef isn’t sold here because no one wants to distribute and air freight a product in a saturated market. We don’t tariff a single US product.

If I could go back 6 years I'd tell myself: Sheep. Loin Chops and Cutlets only retail cuts. Everything else value added. Lamb jerky/biltong/dehydrated pet treats. Mince, snags & diced if desperate for more fresh cuts. Value add from lamb tallow: cooking fat, lip balm, etc Same avenue for muttons and rams. Build in intensive enterprise (pigs or layers) when ready. Build Shopify ecomm first, ditch the markets, buying clubs and CSA's First employees should be subcontractors. Web design, graphic artist, help with compliance, legal aid. Farm labour assistance absolute last. On farm commercial kitchen asap.
