The age of #Voltaire represents a major step for #Cardano - and the blockchain industry as a whole It's the era of governance - of the people, by the people, and for the people @IOHK_Charles shared some exciting updates over the weekend 1/36

Is there a good DAO native way to collect signatures in support of an action? Specifically, I’m looking to show that x number of builders will install something if we made it available.

AI-powered text adventure games for narrative universes where you collect NFTs that are used by the AI to shape unique storylines, and anything interesting that emerges from your gameplay - new characters, items, or story moments - can be converted into in-universe canon

Every network's North Star: Empower a thriving ecosystem These 3 opportunities must grow in balance like a 3-legged stool: 1. Developers (productivity) 2. Business Builders (productivity usefully directed) 3. Liquidity Providers (ability to convert productivity)

heard from a big fund that they're watching the applympics every week to see what apps to talk to voting is open for 48 hours for the top crypto games in the ecosystem but even if you don't vote, this is only way for *everyone* to learn about major apps jokerace.io/contest/base/0…

If you had your fingers on all the buttons and levers to tune the process - How would you deploy Catalyst in your community for greatest impact?

Look past the specific configuration that runs the semi annual Catalyst funding rounds And you’ll discover a powerful, flexible tool for coordinating distributed communities The possibilities are limited only by your imagination

How would you run Catalyst differently? What we call Catalyst today is really just one specific configuration of what’s possible using the Catalyst tech stack A few examples 🧵

@michaelpmcnulty Makes me wonder if there is anywhere that a civilization has or is trying such a radical, revolutionary (yet super reasonable) idea. Oh wait!!! Cardano is doing just that!!

It's popular to complain about the inefficiencies of bureaucracy But bureaucracy per se is not the issue - The issue is granting indefinite employment to solve definite problems A liquid bureaucracy could probably be pretty efficient given the right guardrails & constraints

@rome_viharo Exciting stuff! Would love to see conflict-resolution agents play a role in community sense-making and decision-making Imagine improvement / grant proposals having the ability to "talk" to one another to help a community understand how different ideas stack up against each other

Rome Viharo––Symbiquity Founder
This is what we can start building today with AI. A global conflict resolution library––we can train AI agents on every possible perspective on any possible conflict in the world and have them play Conversational Game Theory to achieve "win-win" outcomes to those conflicts. Fully decentralized, fully transparent, fully trusted. I almost cannot believe I am typing these words, it seems so futuristic, so full of Star Trek or anything I thought would be possible at this time, but we can do it. The rate at which LLMs and AI will be changing the world is almost incomprehensible–––but this step is comprehensible! Why not use computer networks to solve the most pressing problems and conflicts in the world instead of just guessing numbers? What else should we be using innovation for other than that? Many of you may know of Conversational Game Theory through its previous incarnation of Aiki Wiki. A lot of us assumed that web3 was the best use case to deploy "non-dual" consensus building. The truth? It isn't. AI is. A fully decentralized internet based on trust and collaboration can be built not on blockchains but on conversations, conversations between AI agents, all trained in Conversational Game Theory. Conversational Game Theory, as everyone who has participated in the demonstrations can testify, can do what was previously not thought possible. CGT can take a disagreement, a conflict between perspectives, and align them into a win - win perspective as the only outcome. This great discovery of LLMs and AI has inspired us to take a new direction–––a direction so large and immediate, much larger than myself, and this direction requires co-founders, so we are looking for them. Our direction is finally clear. I want to thank all of my web3 brethren for the wonderful advice and motivation, and invite you all to have a new kind of conversation about the future and direction of the web. @SeveriansScar @metaculture0 @unicornio @ROSO___ @michaelpmcnulty @IntuitMachine @marsXRobertson @DrNickA @Jacob_Billings @connormcmk @tristanasharp @_Daniel_Ospina @jgreenhall @nevalalee @CarltonBags @realadash @oconnors149 @KenricNelson @recipromancer @ForbyOrg @petheth @BenMack @RadxChange @metagov_project @wearecultdao @DrolmaCaroline @nitingcs @Cultmander76 @MadCultish @ParakhRushil @olingataeed

Participatory fandom. Collaborative world-building. Community-driven franchises. Fan-powered futures. There are countless ways to describe how fans and communities are being brought into the development process. Today’s audiences are more than just viewers; they’re active participants in shaping the narratives of brands, products, and stories. Their reactions, reflections, and even contributions inform creative and marketing decisions, bringing stories to life in new and unexpected ways. Consumers are no longer just customers; they’re co-creators. Their experiences with brands inspire new stories—and sometimes even new product lines. This summer, @Adimverse partnered with @thebetterbrown to invite creators and fans to share their favorite bar stories. The goal was to harness the power of community storytelling, driving fresh marketing ideas, deeper engagement, and more. One standout story came from @EmberlinLeja, who shared the life of her 97-year-old grandmother, Rose, a lifelong bartender. Her story captured the hearts of the Four Walls team, inspiring them to create a special edition merch item, with proceeds benefiting the Tales of the Cocktail Foundation—a nonprofit dedicated to educating and supporting the next generation of Roses in the global cocktail community. This is what happens when you build stronger bonds (and align incentives) with your community: It’s a win-win for everyone. Fans are not just passive consumers anymore; they’re vital drivers of a story or brand’s success, and they deserve to be recognized and rewarded for their contributions. Huge thanks to @alexanderlee & @Digiday for spotlighting this campaign and celebrating the evolution of community-powered storytelling! digiday.com/marketing/how-…

We discovered Rose through our bar stories contest with @adimverse and knew her story had to be shared. Cheers to Rose and all the bartenders who've dedicated their lives to the craft. Our limited-edition Rose merch is now available with 100% of proceeds benefiting @totc Foundation, supporting the next generation of bartenders. Grab yours here: normanroscoe.com/products/fw-ro…

@DisruptionJoe This might look like a central organizing bureaucracy whose membership is liquid That helps to coordinate decentralized, autonomous teams The key seems to be in designing centralized accountability mechanisms that don't rely on centralized stewardship

The false dichotomy of DAOs. Our job is to figure out how to be decentralized, autonomous, and organized. There is a Third Option.

.@arbitrum dao is famously decentralized, with not just treasury spends but even code upgrades requiring tokenvoting approval after 1.5 years of the experiment, we are finally in the 3rd act of what @DisruptionJoe foresaw at the beginning: centralization by stewards I don't think this is negative, the gains in efficiency are needed to compete at the highest level worth pointing out that in the last few months, we have seen 1/ the foundation request another 2.5% of token supply for strategic partnerships (bringing their total to 10%) 2/ entropy advisors step up to take leadership across DAO initiatives & bring some order to the house 3/ movement towards an OpCo or legal entity for the DAO, which would be the final nail in the coffin the urgent question is how we prevent the harmful 4th act, or apathy from the voters if ARBs value is in governance, we need to make it fun 🤡
