They successfully memory-holed Covid. The elites are genius. The Democrats are ignoring it & Trump tricked Republicans into thinking it’s not important. They won. It’s over. Have fun this election.

What TrumpWorld did was worse than just trashing DeSantis. They took policies that were the face of resistance to big government and left-wing radicalism, policies that were critical in saving freedom during COVID, and trashed those policies because Trump’s ego demanded it. They did infinitely more damage to those conservative policies and public perception of conservative successes than anything they did to one man. Now looking back at COVID or at the future of policy, the left can point to even Trump saying Florida is a crime-ridden shithole and Florida’s COVID policies a failure. That’s what has me most pissed. Everything — even the public legitimacy of policies critical to freedom — sacrificed to one billionaire’s ego. We’ll be tallying the damage of that ego for decades

The last time Trump was president, we lost a million small businesses, experienced travel blockages to and from Europe, got a nearly bankrupted the cruise industry, had schools and churches closed for the duration, multiple trillions in new spending, and got tax-funded experimental injections 99% of the population didn't need. Hey, what's the worst that could happen this next time?

Trump is the last man standing and, with that, a serious accounting for the Covid calamity is off the table completely. The candidate will not address it and no one around him dares mention it. And that's how history is systematically covered up.
