For years, @RepThomasMassie was popular among MAGA: until he opposed a couple of Trump policies, and Trump told his followers to hate Massie him because he's a "grandstander" who accomplishes nothing. Overnight, huge numbers of MAGA followers started reciting that like some mantra. Last night, Massie just helped defeat renewal of warrantless domestic spying on Americans: accomplishing more -- just in this alone -- than 90% of House members.

🚨 JUST IN—IT’S OFFICIAL: Conservatives have BLOCKED an attempt to RAM THROUGH a 5 year extension of FISA in the dead of night, extending it by only 2 weeks @timburchett, @laurenboebert, and @RepThomasMassie are out here celebrating a win against the deep state 🇺🇸🔥 “They try to bring us in all these classified briefings and tell us how DANGEROUS it is to have warrants to spy on American citizens. The briefing that we're never going to get is, ‘hi, our agency has been given TOO MUCH power by Congress!” — Rep. Boebert — Asked about how this current FISA bill relates to the powers used to spy on President Trump’s campaign, Massie said: “Today, I went in the SCIF and saw two TOP SECRET documents that showed this program is getting worse—NOT better!” When I asked how extending FISA impacts everyday Americans, Massie replied: “If you get on the government's naughty list—regardless of who is in the White House—they could put your name in this, find things about you, and then go recreate ANOTHER evidence trail to discover that because they're NEVER going to say they used FISA.” — When I asked Burchett what he thinks of FISA, and if it’s used to spy on aliens, he said: “I don’t believe in FISA. The only reason aliens don’t come down here is because there IS not intelligent life.” 🤣🔥

@mtracey Do you not see this as a potential hedging and distancing before something new and damning (likely pertaining to Donald) is revealed? Trump is weaker than he’s ever been politically, if the shoe were to drop on him via Epstein allegations, it may be coming soon

I don't know about you, but my head is still spinning over this Melania speech. WTF! Sure, there are photos of her consorting with Jeffrey and Ghislaine over the years, and maybe a fleeting email here or there, but has she ever really been THAT big of a focal point in the speculation? (Because now she definitely WILL BE...) She denied wrongdoing. What wrongdoing was she ever even accused of? Did anyone notice that while she was at it, she could've declared that her husband also didn't do anything wrong, but conspicuously chose not to...? Why suddenly make a televised statement on Epstein this afternoon -- apparently without Donald's knowledge -- calling for Congressional action and public "survivor" testimony, because, she claims, Epstein did not "act alone"? Donald has always been adamant that he feels the country should move on from Epstein. It's certainly not something he feels should warrant any further political or legislative attention. But... that's exactly what Melania just called for! So again, WTF!
Michael Tracey@mtracey

This is gobsmacking. Not only did Melania Trump suddenly decide to give a televised address about Jeffrey Epstein, she's calling on Congress to "act," because Epstein was "not alone." So she just threw a giant stick of political dynamite on the issue her husband despises!

Texans have been saying that their state is starting to look unrecognizable, so I went to North Texas to go check it out. From streets named, “Ali Akbar”, to residents stating that Texas is now “mini-India”, North Texas is seeing a major shift:

The war on Iran is being conducted "in the collective self-defense of Israel," according to this March 10 letter by Mike Waltz to the UN. Evidently, the Trump Administration perceives the "self-defense" of the US as "collectively" interchangeable with the "self-defense" of Israel

Amazing that Dems have a stronger stance on Hasan Piker than the war on Iran.

Paying taxes this year feels like an added layer of frustration as the U.S. wages a war that: Congress didn’t authorize, is on behalf of another country, majority of citizens oppose, and could lead us into World War (if it isn’t already). Is this taxation without representation?

Had the same feeling lately. Even workshopping a name for our those of us wandering leaderless: “Our Children’s Future Party.” Every generation should be focused on priorities for the next generation to thrive. It could be a radical worldview bringing the best of left & right
Lee Fang@lhfang

There's no political party for those who want a western system in which society is based on individual rights, not tribal identity. Fools on the left attempting to divide by skin color and gender, fools on the right who worship a violent ethnostate based on Jewish supremacy.

Huge Anthropic leak just dropped: the entire Claude Code CLI source is now public. A misconfigured .map file in their npm package exposed a direct download link to the full unobfuscated TypeScript codebase from Anthropic’s own R2 bucket. Discovered by Chaofan Shou (@Fried_rice), the dump is massive 1,900 files, 512,000+ lines including the complete tool system, 50+ slash commands, multi-agent coordinator, React/Ink terminal UI, IDE bridge, permission engine, and several unreleased features. Full repo is live on GitHub(@nichxbt ): github.com/nirholas/claud… Clean mirrors are already up for easy browsing(@baanditeagle): cc-poster.vercel.app cc-hidden-deploy.vercel.app It’s spreading fast, the entire dev community is already tearing through it.

🚨 REPORT | An Israeli citizen was arrested in Las Vegas after police found a cache of weapons, lab equipment, and more than 1,000 samples of unknown liquids at a home tied to a widening biosecurity investigation, the Los Angeles Times reports. Ori Solomon, 55, is accused of illegally possessing firearms and improperly disposing of hazardous waste. Authorities said officers in protective gear removed materials from the home, which were consistent with those found in a separate case in California. That investigation began when a foul smell led officials to a warehouse in Reedley, where they discovered a hidden lab containing thousands of biological samples, 1,000 lab mice, and evidence of at least 20 infectious agents including SARS, hepatitis, and dengue. Prosecutors say Chinese national Jia Bei Zhu ran a scheme from there, importing COVID tests from China and selling them as American-made, and a congressional report flagged over $1.3 million in unexplained payments from Chinese banks tied to the operation. Investigators found Zhu had listed a Las Vegas house as bail collateral and called it hundreds of times over the past year, making it a key lead that led police to raid the Sugar Springs Drive property, where Ori Solomon was identified as the manager.

What began as a routine check triggered by a persistent odor led to an unsettling discovery: a hidden lab operating inside a California warehouse containing dangerous pathogens including HIV, malaria, COVID-19 and Ebola. latimes.com/california/sto…

In February, Iran offered Trump unlimited inspections (beyond Obama deal w/sunsets), down-blending its enriched uranium stockpile & U.S. corporations to run Iran's nuclear energy. Israel launched this war to prevent a permanent peace deal. The most insane war in modern history.
