The amount of shit some took by this fanbase for saying our core was the main issue, & not Lindy Ruff, was absolutely insane.
Fast forward a couple of years ago & the #NJDevils are at the bottom of the standings, with the same core, while the #sabrehood are division champs!

In terms of system, deployment, etc., what is the case for Lindy Ruff winning the Jack Adams?
The narrative case is obvious (drought, comeback after bad start, vibes etc.) but does it go deeper than that? Especially since he was the coach last year when they were crummy.

@JStapleton0 No, I don't think so. He made some stylistic changes that were a substantial improvement on last year, but I think that just shows he didn't have the answers last year. I overall think the team is really good and so are about where I expected outside of goaltending.

Lindy Ruff was given a long list of goalies who were either made of glass or can barely start in the AHL.
Give this current roster to Ruff & we’re in the playoffs, guaranteed.

@NHLMedia @BuffaloSabres He likely will, and he is a great coach BUT the sabres team didn't do this well because of him. He had a season and a quarter and still was bottom of the league. The players were the ones who decided to turn the ship around. So Ruff likely will win it but its not because of him.

Let me just start with saying, in a very unladylike way, that you guys seem to have zero clue what happened in Hungary in the last two years, you completely miss the point, and you're a disappointing bunch.

The state will not finance these things, neither the event called CPAC nor other related institutions such as the Mathias Corvinus Collegium and similar attached bodies. I believe the state should never have financed them in the first place, it was a crime. Mixing party financing with government spending from the state budget is, in my view, a criminal offense, and this will have to be investigated by the future authorities, including the National Office for the Recovery and Protection of Public Assets, since those budgetary funds were not meant to finance party events. CPAC is welcome to come to Budapest, very welcome, but it should not be financed with Hungarian taxpayers’ money. It should be funded by Fidesz, or by Orbán’s proxies, at least until that money is taken back.
