One of the most absurd Oscar nomination omissions of the last few years was Ethan Hawke for First Reformed. Hawke has always been great, but his performance in Paul Schrader's compelling drama is a career best, offering so many memorable moments of quiet, emotional power.

@Ryan5833 It’s insane. Talking like they nominated More obscure or under the radar films like Titane or Bergman Island. Would hardly classify West Side Story, Dune, or Coda as “people aren’t watching these movies.”
