Personal Opinion: The Bears don’t need a new stadium deal. They already have the best deal in football. At Soldier Field, the Bears pay just $6.48 million a year in rent, with increases tied to only 50% of CPI every five years. Which means their effective rent drops over time. And no property taxes. At $6.5M/year, it would take roughly 116 years of Soldier Field rent to equal the cost of a $2 billion new stadium commitment. And that doesn't even include property taxes or interest on the loan. The Bears have had no problem increasing ticket prices. According to Statista, the Bears ranked fourth in the NFL in average ticket price in 2023, at $458.17 per ticket. Likely bringing in over $25M+/game. Profitability isn't an issue at Soldier Field. For taxpayers, fans, and the Bears, Soldier Field is the obvious answer: No new taxes. No new property tax shifts. No new infrastructure expenses. No new history to build. No alienation of fans. And the Bears can still develop Arlington Heights or Hammond without putting a stadium there, if that's what they choose to do. Even if they want to develop west of Soldier Field, they are free to join the One Central development or start their own. No one is stopping them from becoming real estate developers if they are dissatisfied with only being a football team. But the bottom line: Soldier Field is the lower-cost, lower-risk option for Bears fans, taxpayers, and the region. The General Assembly doesn't need to do anything. Soldier Field is already the best deal in the NFL.

Lack of knowledge on subject .I was promised a new stadium when the bears moved to soldier field in 1972 as a temporary location ! @JBPritzker was 6 years old and the incompetent mayor wasn’t born but they should be voted out for a lot of reasons .But the one constant is the family the whole time .The bears have an owner worth 7-11 billion bucks Pat Ryan but will not sell shares to him .

@RealCJ10 He’s also hitting the ball way back from his front foot after that stride. When hitting off the tee, move stance back so you’re hitting the ball about even with where you put down your front foot.

Anytime the top of the bat almost points at the pitcher during stride, thats a long way to go to catch up with velocity. Abbreviate the load a bit. Get him to think thru the centerfield wall, not over it. That will allow front elbow to go more directly to the ball. He has a bit of an arm bar (straightening) of that elbow, which also is slowing him down. Hope it helps…
