I’ve been told Josh Banini was sent to hospital for X-rays, but is in good spirits. Got a puck under left eye. Was told this by a Winterhawks off-ice official.

@Kurtpohs Sounds like some fun lines! It'll be interesting to see how they do.

In his absence, the 17 line is broken up and Reed Brown will flank Sam Spehar and Nathan Free. Finn Spehar will get a chance with Gustafson and Wilfley. Ben Miller draws in with Dyck and McDonough for a gritty line looking to keep their momentum going from last night.

No Nathan Brown in the lineup tonight. No disciplinary action has been posted on the WHL's website, but with the short turn around between last night's game and today, I will ask for clarification on any possible suspension for his hit last night.

Dmitri Yakutsenak gave Nathan Brown a fist to the face away from the puck late in a PK, which started a fight between the two. Yakutsenak shushed the crowd for an extended period after the fight, drawing the ire of Portland's skaters. Only penalties assessed are 5 for fighting.
