Hike #61: Snowshoe Hare/Telephone, ~5km, ~160m elevation gain, -4 deg C. Slow going with the snow but no wind so quiet. Winter is still here. ❄️

@Dendritic_View I just put out the cleaned/refreshed bird houses today. I thought I was early. I haven’t seen a bluebird yet this year either.

Still haven't got a picture of Bluebird yet this spring, normally they are back by about the 20th of March.
I might to go looking for them tomorrow (of course, spring still isn't here, so maybe they are waiting some place warm before returning).

Hike #59: Maclean Creek Area, ~6km, ~200m elevation gain, -2 deg C. Something different today. Hiked on a closed single track (motorcycle) trail.

Hike #58: Snowshoe Hare/Telephone, ~5km, <150m elevation gain, -4 deg C. The friendly guy at Handlebar Cafe in Bragg Creek told me the grizzlies are out in Bluerock (a place I hike often). I always carry bear spray. Luckily all my encounters with bears have been good. 🐻
