I don't care what the reason was... you don't leave your dog behind like yesterday's luggage. Imagine how confused and terrified this poor dog must have been, sitting there waiting for the only person he trusted to come back. Dogs don't understand airline policies. They don't understand boarding passes. They only understand loyalty. We call dogs "man's best friend" because they would never abandon us. They deserve that same loyalty in return. My heart breaks for this sweet pup. I just hope he finds someone who will never leave him behind again. 🐾💔

Also pray for the recovery of the officer as well as the K-9 Havoc🙏 Dollar General manager shot, killed by customer over $1.58 hamburger buns A Georgia Dollar General manager was shot and killed after police say a customer opened fire during a purchase that totaled just $1.58. Investigators say 44-year-old Alexis Hill was working Tuesday morning when a man came in to buy hamburger buns. He handed her two crumpled $1 bills. As she straightened them, police say he stepped aside, pulled out a gun, and shot her. Hill was pronounced dead at the scene around 10:45 a.m. The suspect ran from the store but was tracked by officers a short time later near Baker Plaza Drive. Police say he opened fire again, shooting an officer and a K-9 named Havoc. Officers returned fire, killing him. The injured officer is expected to recover. K-9 Havoc is in stable condition but will need surgery. Police identified the suspect as 33-year-old Jerome Willis. A motive has not been released. Hill’s family says she was a devoted mother of three. Friends remember her as positive and hardworking. “She’d make you laugh. She loved that job, and she worked her entire butt off,” a friend said.

You can too by getting tickets from the NPS or joining our evening National Mall tour which tours WWII to Lincoln ending with tickets to the undercroft. A few tips we learned… -you can be up to an hour late and you will still be accommodated (per NPS ranger I asked tonight!) -you won’t have cell service down there! - the bathrooms are so much nicer than the old ones! IYKYK - they have special junior ranger badges and stamps for your NPS passport - we spent 45 minutes but a lot of that was in the bookstore! However they don’t monitor how long you spend so take as much time as you want. - check in is by the Vietnam Veterans Memorial side of the Lincoln Memorial Plaza, no need to arrive more than 5 minutes before your ticketed time. They bring in groups every 15 minutes.”

Crude oil keeps going down and then last night gas went up 14 cents in my town. In one week it went up 20 cents. Who else is frustrated with seeing the prices head in the wrong direction?
