@cooksey_mr26572 @simmo1024 @LozzaFox Yep, that’s another thing. It has caused many problems for the local community, girls followed home, littering, antisocial behaviour, theft in local shops. Needs to be closed down.
English

@michellerose86_ @simmo1024 @LozzaFox For now, at night its moody around that area because of the migrant hotel
English

@cooksey_mr26572 @simmo1024 @LozzaFox Because there’s no catchment area for Sutton college unfortunately 🙄 Mere Green shops are better.
English

@michellerose86_ @simmo1024 @LozzaFox Sutton is next to fall. Walk up that high street Year by year it gets more of a shithole. Look at the college its mini pakistan/somali. Keep votong tories though. hopefully get another Boris wave for sutton.
English

@michellerose86_ @simmo1024 @LozzaFox Sutton High Street is one step from becoming erdington high st.
And you say keeping the city from falling 🤣
English

@cooksey_mr26572 @simmo1024 @LozzaFox Because Birmingham City Council bleeds us dry. There’s no wonder it’s the safest, most affluent area of Birmingham… it’s not hard to beat anyways.

@alanaxgojo @antisocial_mdia @cr3ss3li4 Yes… the Windrush that had 1000 passengers. Hardly built up the whole country mate.
English

@michellerose86_ @antisocial_mdia @cr3ss3li4 not that hard to go and google and search up the windrush mate x
English

@alanaxgojo @antisocial_mdia @cr3ss3li4 Britain was still 90% white British even as recent as the 90s, so the majority of the work was done by native Brits.
English

@antisocial_mdia @cr3ss3li4 well who do u think came over and rebuilt this country after it was bombed to bits in world war two mate
English

@cr3ss3li4 Are you thick or thick? I mean just look at Birmingham or Bradford.
English

@appletoothpaste Been saying the same thing. We need #SCEXIT more than ever.
English

A genuinely insane situation. I do think jts time for Sutton Coldfield independence (a long held view of mine) as BCC is too big.
Dr Helen Ingram@drhingram
Scattergun voting in Birmingham. Voters deeply opposed to each other living shoulder-to-shoulder. I hope sense prevails and everyone can coexist peacefully. But that map is giving pressure cooker vibes.
English

@simmo1024 @lewis_goodall Sutton Coldfield Independence Party is long overdue.
English

@78DarknessTour @BirminghamWeAre Sutton Coldfield is single-handedly holding Birmingham together. #SCEXIT coming soon.
English

@BirminghamWeAre It does. UK government both Tory and Labour have shat all over Brum the last 25 years. Brum can lead the way. Charge Sutton Coldfield posh Tories more to enjoy the benefits of being part of this wonderful city and sell Northfield/Frankley etc... to Bromsgrove
English

Does this outcome of the elections and no overall control represent a massive opportunity for the city if the candidates commit to work together in the interests of the city? Could the campaign #LookUpBirmingham be endorsed and supported by all candidates.

English

@DarrenJohnson66 I have no idea what Sutton Coldfield is doing as part of Birmingham instead of being its own district council.
English

The wider West Midlands should be a fully-fledged region with an elected multi-party Assembly holding the West Midlands Mayor to account, just like in London. Birmingham shouldn't be a single council. It's too big, no longer works politically and will never be well run.
Ben Brittain@BenABrittain
Want to understand what happened in the local elections, Birmingham is a good start; a microcosm of British politics in one city, a Frankenstein rainbow morphed from the dead two party consensus, with sectarian politics, white working class grievance, and desperate economic anger
